@GigaHazard I don't disagree. And keep the BrightPowder if it works for you--using it in conjunction with Sand Veil / Snow Cloak is a viable option, too, just as combining Scope Lens with Super Luck and/or Focus Energy is a viable strategy. People gonna hate, but if it works for you, go with it.
@GigaHazard well i think it is unfair to be able to avoid moves that should not be avoidable unless certain conditions are executed
i mean not being able to hit flamethrower against something that has no sand veil/snow cloak activated is frustraiting the same goes for using focus band or kings rock
@nikodem123asdf Yes, but I don't see people complaining when they use Super Luck and the Scope Lens, even though they cause KOs if successfully executed, and that's even worse than having your moves miss 10% of the time. Both are even based on luck if you ask me.
@GigaHazard critical hit is somethink that can happen any time with almost every damaging move and not being able to land flamethrower is something that should never happen the same as being filched by icicle spear, surviving 5 turns in a row thanks to focus band or going first regardless you used priority or custab berry witch quick claw this is just waaay too unexpected
@GigaHazard@nikodem123asdf Lots of tournaments and competetive leagues do ban its use (along with Focus Band and a few others), the same way OHKO moves and Double Team are generally banned, even though all these things are (generally) balanced. The sentiment is that pokemon should be more a game of skill than of luck, but let's face it--Pokemon *is* a game of luck in a lot of ways, even with these rules in place.
How ironic, Blizzard doesn't what it's strong against, but what it's weak against.

isn't bright powder a bit cheap?

@nikodem123asdf No, not really. It only reduces accuracy by 10%. (It's basically the same as saying it raises your evasion by 10%.)
