Great lesson Justin. I take pride in having figured out a lot of tunes on my one (Stairway to Heaven, From the Beginning, Balckbird, to name a few), but it is a really great shortcut to find the CORRECT way to play it!

Best lesson for this song out there. Thank you! For those of you who don't want to crank your guitar strings down so tight with the open E tuning (E,B,E,G#,B,E) you can do an open D tuning (D,A,D,F#,A,D) and place a capo on the 2nd fret for an open E. You still play it just like he teaches. Only the first fret after the capo becomes your new first fret. Either way, DO NOT leave your guitar in open E (loosen the strings when you finish playing) or the little suckers will break fast!
