I was watching the CMT awards last night (BTW not a country fan for the most part) and I commented to my mom that I found it funny they had Lionel Richie do a performance but they did not even invite Josh Ritter when the fact is I think he has more talent than most of the most "So called Talented" country bands out there and I think he also captures fully what all country artists hope to harness and that is a taste of the old west and the old ways.

You know you're good when you're the only American on an Irish show...Josh is already a legend in his own rights - I'm really glad he's a part of the post Dylan and Cohen generation
