I dont understand why they bother running 300m hurdles . They dont run it in college so why do it in highschool . Same for 55m hurdles .

I run hurdles in arizona, the reason arizonians run slower is because of the lower altitude (vallys and canyons), making it harder to breathe, where as people in california have a bit higher altitude and more oxygen so they perform better. So best gather your information first before you jock on other states, "dipshit".

@RemiRaps higher altitude mean less oxygen........that's why runners go train in the mountains. If they get used to breathing in a low oxygen environment, you run better at sea level, and other lower level areas. And, don't rag on this guy even if he got last. He got last at STATE. And state is an accomplishment, no matter the place. (I run the 400m hurdles at Texas State. 300's feel the same as 400's, to the person below this comment).
