This is a paradox, because according to scientist they're hard at work looking for life in other planets, but here in Earth we have evidence of being visited by ET's, we have all this videos all this photos, yet scientist are still looking, either all this photos and evidence are bullshit or the scientist are in denial. Go figure.
@Schwarzkald Well, there's a lot of bullshit in this world. Alien, sapient life on Earth is hardly the only controversial and dubious thing about which some people vehemently claim to have insider knowledge - astrology, reptilians, homeopathy, scrying, dowsing, contact with the dead, creationism, religion, Loch Ness monsters...
@dunnono00 Oh no my friend we have found many planets containing water - water H2O is very easy to detect and they have been finding them for years a few years ago they found Gliese 581 c which is huge a Water World.
Perhaps you're mistaking 581 c for something else. It's generally believed now that Gliese 581 c is outside the "habitable zone" and that it likely has a runaway greenhouse effect. It may have water, but in the form of vapor.
Unfortunately, the media tends to run wild when it comes to discoveries like these, and don't seem to stress enough that liquid water is only "believed" to be there based on a number of factors rather than fully confirmed.
@dunnono00 Im Gutted :( I thought that was the winner......well we still have the Europa moon if we could drill far enough into the little moon they say the squashing effect back and forth as it orbits Jupiter could keep liquid at a reasonable tempreture miles under the ice surface......Lets go ice fishing it would be amazing.
aliens ignore us cos of christian retards that do human worship like so many past religions that claimed same crap. ther human sacrifice crap and statue worshipping turds all keep earth from joining alien federation
I was under the impression that ALL stars have planets! Also, Dawkins claim of we will not meet another civilization because we would be too far apart. He obviously has not looked into the Ancient Alien Theory. Like it or not, our ancestors were visited by 'extraterrestrials' and they continue observing us & our progress. Their teachings to our ancestors most likely were perverted and used for violence, so they took it back & took out ppl with the knowledge & are forbidden to get involved w/ us.
They land in the middle of nowhere. Like landing in the desert here on earth instead of landing in the city's. Don't these moron watch you tube we can see people ,tree's, rivers of running water on mars city's and town's. Venus is making Oxygen. Mercury has ice on the surface. most mars satellite's are probably shot down. these people are Moron's or lair's

@oztronix Bacterial spore: A unique process in which the vegatative cell undergoes a profound biochemical change which gives rise to a highly resistant spore during times of adverse environmental conditions such as lack of moisture, extreme heat ant toxic chemicals. The formation of this spore retains the essential genetic information within the core. M/O's may be buried deep within the asteroid and not be exposed to this radiation. This is basic stuff my man.
@ah4fecksake Thank you! that (should) settles that. well, maybe not for the alien visitation believers, the 911 conspiracy theorists... and, wait. this will take a long time. You get the idea. :) peace.
@mizcreant Agreed...oh, let the babies have their bottles. It will probably be the demise of our species that so many people can't accept we are here by chance and chance only, however great that chance may be, but nothing more. Peace to you too my friend :+)
Actually there are many types of bacteria that can easily survive very high energy radiation, both particle and photon radiation sources.
To add to this, Bacteria have been fired from extremely high powered guns into concrete walls, when the sample is retrieved from the wall, the bacteria are still alive with quite small damage to their colony numbers.
Not only that, but comets could easily have bacterial spores and genetic material INSIDE them away from the surface.
Actually if we could find bacterial spores on comets in our solar system it would be a HUGE scientific milestone, cause then we'd finally have rock solid proof that life can be transported via rocks.
It also VASTLY increases the odds of there being advanced life, if simple stuff can be moved around easily.
They're really REALLY resiliant, As i explained on the last comment.
Please look up how comets and other objects enter our atmosphere and you'll see that (unless said object explodes due to stresses before hitting the ground) the interior of the object is hardly heated, nor shows many signs of damage.
Large objects crashing into water would EASILY be able to take bacterial spores and even living objects into our oceans.
@Clint945 Hehe yeah sorry about that. I've watched an experiment where they fired some bacteria through that powerful NASA gun. It simulates impact conditions of a comet. They used the strongest, or one of the strongest, bacteria available, and it didn't survive the impact. It was just an impact. Comets do still go through a lot of prolonged heat exposure, so chances are even less. I'm not sure I'd expect the huge temperature of atmosphere to not affect the core of the comet.
It doesn't, The center of the comet is actually pretty unaffected by the entry into the Atmosphere.
Infact, its only the very outer layer that's heated during the decent, thats why many of them explode before they hit the ground, its the extreme difference in temp between the crust and the center that causes cracks, which force it to fly apart.
And bacteria can survive shock-loading, bacterial spores even more so. You don't find live bacteria on/in comets anyway.
@Clint945 Yeah wasn't really thinking of how "live" they are. Good point. But seriously, I've watched a documentary on National G or History, and they did the cannon experiment for the same reason. They didn't survive in any meaningful form. But I'm not 100% convinced that that experiment is totally legit and final.
Nice info on the comet destruction phase. Thanks, I'll remember that.
I'm not disputing the program, and it is entirely possible that some tests would kill all bacteria.
I'm an astrophysicist and my Partner is a Marine Biologist so I'm getting the comet facts from myself and the bacteria facts from her :)
Tbh, we need to do far more testing and it would be really helpful to get a large sample from a comet in space to finally see what exactly is inside them. But my personal hypothesis is still that our planet was 'seeded' from comets.
To clarify: You don't find Living bateria, They're frozen into cryostasis or they're more likely in spore form.
However, They're very very resiliant creatures and you've also got to consider scale in this, We see an explosion at our scale, but if you scale it down to the bacterial level the forces are quite diluted.
In any case, the comets brought water and organic material such as Ammonia, Methane and basic amino-acid / proteins to Earth.
@TheKres7787 it's unlikely, but possible. Experiments in the lab replicated just such a scenario, and mircro-organisms were shown to be able to survive the impact. Granted, it's a long-shot. but what were the odds of you being in front of your keyboard typing? Pretty much a similar bet. In the end, your DNA won the lottery. We cant be 100% of life's beginning 'till science comes up with proof, which I think they will, some day. peace.
@mizcreant please read my comment below. Damn text limitation!
Yeah astronomical chances means that it is happening all the time, in universe so old and large. Life had to originate from somewhere. The conditions of early earth have surely made earth sterile. So something had to come from above? Or is life just a normal feature of the universe, in the same way that gravity and any other laws of physics/universe are. In which case earth already had all it needed to spawn life.
"Life is a system which shows negative entropy" (Erwin Schrödinger) The last bastion of the superstitious is the idea that life is something magical -- and not simply a way in which matter will organise itself whenever the conditions for this process are favourable. OF COURSE there's life in space. It's only a question of finding it -- which in turn is only a question of looking in the right places.
@MediaFaust How does life show negative entropy? What did that guy mean by that, because life is totally entropic, in every way. The only way one could possibly make that assertion is through a value judgment that time is a process of progress, but from a scientific point of view, strictly applying the laws of thermodynamics we are using more matter & energy to do the simplest of things, this is entropic positive feedback as it increases the amount of useless matter & chaos.
@2Jakk Life shows negative entropy by taking the random building blocks of life and organizing it as time progresses into organisms, instead of typical entropy where order progresses toward the chaotic. Evolution shows organisms consistantly becoming more efficient, and typically evolving to use less energy to survive, with the obvious exception of humans. Seen as how humans are only one of millions of forms of life, life would typically be an example of negative entropy.
@mazellezes thats an interesting approach, taking life holistically....on using less energy to survive, there is a biological equation concerning larger animals and the amount of energy that they need compared to smaller organisms that typically consume and burn many times their body weight, and the trend is getting smaller..another way to look at it is that life itself is an agent of entropy,we become more efficient at increasing entropy, but yeah, ill think on that thanks
@mazellezes on thinking on this more I have to say that "organizing" "random" building blocks to life, and the single cell to multi cell as progress to complexity are also value judgments that rely heavily on our world views. For instance, we tend to think we are more advanced (complex) then hunter gatherers, but anthropologists looking at existing HG's say they only work about 20hrs a week & spend the rest of the time on art, music, dance etc, w/ a less entropic impact on ..cont..
@mazellezes cont.environment...looking at languages we have "high" context & "low" context languages, more "advanced" need lots and lots of words, english grows by 1000's each year or so, in less advanced people had fewer words, but greater understanding.....I know this "proves" nothing, but its food for thought, a change in perspective/values can totally alter our concept of evolution & progress as a natural feature of entropy.
V you are a nut, in none of this sense literal, it is all symbolic don't you get that? No it's not god in some fuckin chariot. God is not going to expose himself to us, it started with the story of Adam and eve, eve being the one who eats the forbidden fruit to and expands her thoughts and ability to learn and she wants to learn more and more, just like us with this we want to keep learning but it's really keep finding things new things some with no explanation this is not what we are supposed
God has fiery Chariots. He rides in them and they are seen as chariots or wheels in a wheel or "clouds". I believe this has been going on from the beginning and people assumed they were the chariots of the gods.
Hollywood is preparing people 2 believe that the UFO or Chariots r evil space aliens (Skyline) In fact it is really God but satan has to prepare man to fight against God at his return. It will be a literal battle. So he's preparing the public to see UFO's as evil.
THIS LAUGHABLE!!!!!!!! If you believe this crap then you must be new here! There is other life out there that exist here on this planet. Bob Lazar.. and many many others...Mind you there are alot of bs vids on here as well...Just keep looking
hey. i was thinking and i gota get this out there. yes it does seem pretty likley that ther should be "others" but what if humans are actually the first out there. ?? and we are far ahead of anything else?
@mcbjboy Its unlikely considering how young our planet is and that complex life has had to all but restart once already on earth. There is a chance that we're the most advanced life so far but it seems unlikely.
@dan240393 maybe we are just in the perfect spot.. thats how we advanced so quikly . and life elsewea may be still evolving or stuck at a lower stage because of harsh enviroment?
@mcbjboy Its possible that they could be stuck behind because of a lack of mass extinction events that are ten a penny in earth's history. The only problem is that we will probably never know :/
"What a great time to live". We are nowhere. We are in our infacy of science. We even can not travel to mars with high speed or advenced spacecrafts without fuel. It's long possible to rise up with high-tech like solar energy or electro technic, and to travel on solar energy or magnetic ingenuity i think. Only reason we do not travel this way is oil and money :s
We can do more than this stupid rockets. If there aliens see us they laughing at us our playful rockets.
i dont belong to any religions, i'm not an atheist either. i am my own god. heaven and karma and afterlife and hell dont exist. when u die, u die. we are no different than any other animals out there. so fuck god, fuck human. in a million years, earth will be a dead planet anyway.
6:30 well that's a scary thought. If they find out about us by watching our tv they probably will try to come and kill us. If they tap into us and watch Rock of Love they'll either have no desire to come see us or an overwhelming desire to destroy us.
The Catholic church agrees with this, but says it was God who started the big bang.
Also God is omniscient however, humans have free will and control their actions and do not need to commit mortal sins but instead choose too. This would be beyond Gods control.
@TheEddywoodwood Fuck you this is science not religion shit it fact not make believe brain washing fucker like you. Blind acceptance only reason we can't prove it wrong because religion is make believe shit by humans you all believer sould go die !!!
If god is omnipotent, then he/she should be able to make a rock so heavy that he/she can never lift it, but if he/she cant lift the rock, he/she isn't omnipotent, and if he/she can lift the rock, they wont be able to make the rock so heavy that he/she cant lift it. Omnipotence is illogical
@TheEddywoodwood If god is omniscient he/she should know everything that will ever happen, which means the future is written, if the future is written then we don't have free will, if god did give us free will and the future isn't written, then he/she isn't omniscient.
@jjjaysunn just shut the fuck up you guys!! Plus, it depends on which god you believe in (or choose not to believe in)... God is a personal thing... so your choice doesnt make a fuck compared to anybody elses... get back to the video...
@congochicken87 No i don't think i will shut the fuck up thanks, i didn't say if god existed or not, i just said omnipotence and omniscience are both illogical
@Nashhinton - There seems to be a misconception that religion and christianity are in conflict while this, in a lot of cases, isn't true. The Catholic Church accepts evoloution if it came from a single pair (whether it be human or single celled organisms). I am not claiming that religion is perfect or absoloutely correct. I personally am not particulary religious, but religion can be used to help gove some answers. For example science states that the univese began from the big bang.
@matreyia The whole book of Genisis is ment to be interpretated as allegory to help people many hundreds of years ago visualize how the Earth came into beginning. It isn't literal!
@TheEddywoodwood - Of course it's not literal. It's false, just a myth, allegory. And it's nigh time that Christians, Jews, and Muslims realize this. Yet there are still stupid monkeys which insist on the literal truth of their books. They, I say, are truly stupid. If they refuse to acknowledge the reality of science which gave them computers and GPS satellites, solar power etc, & they choose to think that two people were the parents of humanity...then they are stupid.
@TheEddywoodwood - The Bible is a collection of allegories. There was & is no God as described in the Bible. I do not know if there is some sort of god out there, nor do I care since It hasn't shown itself. I have other things to take care of... such as the corruption of my own mind with anger, jealousy, greed, lust...etc. No need to add imaginary things to make the job even more confusing.
The same folks would deny scientific progress time & again, even if it benefits them: stem cells etc.
@TheEddywoodwood - Why do I say resolutely that the Biblical version of God does not & cannot exist? Again, because the Bible contradicts itself logically. Consider the view that God is eternal. This is absolutely false since to be eternal is to be permanent, to be permanent is to be unchanging...Clearly, in the Bible, God has changed his mind over & over. Even movement of one cell, limb, or thought negates the view that God is eternal/permanent.
@TheEddywoodwood -Consider the same principles as applied to the eternal Soul. If a soul were eternal, it could not change, therefore, a soul which is evil could never ever change into a good soul. Furthermore, since all souls were created by God according to the Bible, that negates that the soul is permanent, since anything permanent can't ever be born nor die. End of story.
@TheEddywoodwood, If God is a perfect being, why did he create microbial life and natural disasters that can kill people? There is so much evidence for evolution than to believe that a perfect being created such an imperfect universe. You just admitted that the fall of man is an allegory, so technically you're picking and choosing or you're admitting the Genesis account to be a lie. Also if God is such an omniscient being, he created some people fully knowing they will go to hell. God's an ass.
Considering how vast the universe is, there is no reason not to think there is a good chance that life evolved elsewhere. There are trillions of stars out there, many of there with planetary systems. I think its far more likely that there is life out there, far away, than that there isn't.
somebody put a dick in ur mom ass and u came out:)) u retard and i am not evolutionist dumb fuck i dont belived in nothing ! But u may have seen some sf movie!! what u think some aliens drop ur ass on earth and they watch u at tv how u jerk off in bathroom?:))weak up dick head
but u think u came from eden garden >?right?pff washed braine by a fagg priest who wanna fuck kids and they call mesengers of so called "GOD".hipocrits ...
@ssacka No football coaches and cops want to have sex with little kids..You are probably one of those people..You may come from a monkey but i didn't..Somebody put us hear..Our bodies are intelligently designed.
I bet the only fagg on hear is you.Get out of the closet.
@m109r67 the big bang, adam & eve created by god but science says we are from little animals and science has proof..well some proof.i dont know who`s right
1. sun & moon (or stars) were created 4th day, after plants & water were already created - impossible w/o the sun, plants could not live & there would be only ice. & what did earth orbit before the 4th day?
2. Bible is full of hearsay & unprovable myths & beings, while science is based on research & NOT hearsay & is responsible for wonders such as the computer u use to watch & type messages.
@AmericanMuscle305 - Adam & Eve first humans? Then Cain & Abel their sons. Cain kills Abel, God puts a mark on Cain to warn others that killing Cain would invoke His wrath. Ask urself, who else could be on Earth if Adam, Eve, Cain & Abel were the first. Who else could even be there to see Cain's mark?
Don't u see how the Bible contradicts itself? It's shoddy writing, no logic or continuity at all. Without help, the Bible shows how contradictory it is - if you read it carefully.
@AmericanMuscle305 - Genesis 4:17 - Suddenly out of nowhere, "Cain made love to his wife..." Where did she come from? Then it continues to give names of people for generations.... Doesn't anyone at all find this a bit ridiculous? Did billions of people just fall asleep at these parts & wake up again at the Jesus parts? It's just unbelievable that people don't care about logic. If only they didn't write stuff & then totally contradict themselves a few pages or paragraphs later...
If logic and reason can't produce proof science shouldn't pull numbers out of the air to suggest how the universe began or the origins of earth. If that were the case then the big bang theory is a flawed theory, but yet they teach it in our education system as fact. How can it be proved beyond a doubt that it happened that way. And by the way it takes a vivid imagination to condure up something that imaginative. Science to me is blinded by their arrogant attitude explaing the unknown as known.
@naturalhigh527 They didn't pull the numbers out of the air. It took a lot of effort and thinking for scientists to come up with these theories, unlike religious figures who just pull words out of thin air and call it the truth. And theories are theories, THEY"RE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE FACTS. Facts is what something is, a theory is a guess to WHY something is. And dude, I'm with you, the public education system is wacked, they shouldn't be teaching these theories as facts.
@naturalhigh527 Its more like "this theory is someone's idea to why that is, and here are his arguments." Blindly teaching children to accept scientific guesses is wrong and completely destroys freethinking. But teaching religious creationism does the same thing, because you're suppose to take it on faith. In the end, its up to what the government wants. A couple hundred years back, yes religion was more practical for them, but now science is what the Big Man wants.
@aegeannavigator hahaha, so how does the code evolve? through windows system errors that make the virus malfunction when it copies itself and the code gets changed over time? XD
it would take millions and millions of windows errors to get to the next step in computer virus evolution!
@naturalhigh527 You dont need to be there to have a damn good idea of what happened. You can make assumptions about what happened before you were born. Psh, your arrogant you weren't there were you? Of course not but you have the evidence and documentation to support your assumption. Just because you weren't there does not mean you can not understand with confidence about what occurred.
@DeathsWill228 If they were asumptions, then they should leave it as that, but what scientist want us to believe is that their asumptions are closer to fact, based on reason. Now I'm not against science, because I can see all the technological, biological, and astrological advancements that have been achieved, but science does not have all the answers to everything. In other words they can speculate those things they can't understand, but they shouldn't teach it as fact. Darwin's missing link??
@naturalhigh527 An assumption can become fact when you have so much evidence and reasoning behind it. The wonder of science is the fact that we do not know everything yet. We pursue knowledge. However, there are things in which we have a VERY good understanding of. Cosmic history as one of them. We didnt need to be there to know how, when, and where it happened. This is more than speculation. Darwin has millions of missing links. Which one? Fossilization is rare so we dont have a complete set.
@DeathsWill228 Lol, so if you have a good enough geuss, is that what your saying. Theories such as these should be left at that, as it is only plausible truth. I just think they overreach in their theories so much that they are impressed by their own imagination, and try to argue the point convincing others that they have reason to believe their theory to be true. The Darwin theory was only an example. I for one am glad that modernism has played itself out and that postmodernism is more accepted
@naturalhigh527 You use guess to take away from its authenticity. You forget the rigorous process that a scientific theory must survive to become a theory. Theories are always left as a plausible truth so they can be modified to the data or outright changed if a conflicting fact destroys it. Imagination has little to do with it. Actually it is about the opposite. Imagination is making something up with no prior evidence, science is the opposite.
@DeathsWill228 Evidence! what fcuken evidence are we talking about that goes back millions of years! There is no such evidence no matter how rigorous to suggest such an outcome! just someones estimation based on what they view around them today c'mon whose being arrogant now. Human reason has its limitations, and that knowledge does not inherently leads us to understanding the universe we live in. Imagination has
@DeathsWill228 Evidence! what evidence are we talking about that goes back millions of years! There is no such evidence no matter how rigorous to suggest such an outcome, just someones estimation based on what they view around them today c'mon whose being arrogant now. Human reason has its limitations, and that knowledge does not inherently leads us to understanding the universe we live in. Imagination has everything to do with knowledge all i'm saying is science gets a bit carried away at timz
@naturalhigh527 For instance the universal background microwave radiation at about 3 kelvin. Also, the fact that the universe is expanding means that it was once smaller in the past. Sounds reasonable enough doesn't it? There is also an abundance of light elements such as hydrogen which was the main and simplest atomic structure that we know of. You are ignorant of the evidence and ignorant of the strong science behind it. This is the same science you use to power your devices and live life well
@DeathsWill228 Still wouldn't stand a chance in a court of law unless they had actual evidence of being there (5.50) 3 billion years ago wtf sounds like someones imagination is running away with them to me. Its this arrogant attitude that reason can make sense of things that they have no real evidence only speculation of things from billions of years ago if that. I mean if you want to believe your relatives were monkeys then they just made a monkeys uncle of you.
@naturalhigh527 You speak of your own opinion and imagination and not of the science you know so little about. Actually, the Universe is about 14 to 15 billion years old (there is a much more accurate estimate out there) the earth is around 4 billion years old. Science has a reason to be arrogant because it has the evidence and the research, superstition and personal bias does not, yet claims the know. My relatives weren't monkeys. Again you display how little you actually know about the topic.
@DeathsWill228 What a ludacris answer, to suggest that the universe or even Earth is that old is only theorectical it can never ever be proven to be true or even close to being accurate. As much as reason has helped us to progress in society it has not all been inherently good. The engineering science behind the Titanic was a disaster, they still can't prove how the great pyramid was built, if by there standards because people back then were thought of as primative. Its not rocket science
@naturalhigh527 Your ignorance of real science is not evidence against it. No, science has not at all been completely good. But overall it has turned a profit in society more than tripling life expectancy. bringing us electricity, and clear understanding of the cosmos among many, many others. Just because science cant explain something yet doesnt mean it has failed, it means that it has room to grow. You have little understanding of what Science is and how it works, you have little room to talk.
@DeathsWill228 if it is so that light might be bend. The light we will recieve here from distance galaxy's might be alot younger then we have always thought. If this is so, it could be seen as galaxy's beeing created, along time after the milkyway was. those dustclouds that form galaxy's and stars have been shrinking since time begun. These days there should not be enough material for entire galaxy's to ''spawn''. Also just a few weeks ago, scientist told the world they discovered new stars. -->
@viezeman Light can bend, but if anything, that would make what we are seeing older than how we see it not younger (which we already know). If you take a detour from a straight line (which is what light would travel in given absence of gravity) it would take longer to arrive. Gas clouds are condensing due to gravity, but the Universe in whole is expanding. We know very little of inter-galactic space and whats in it. There could be some what "Invisible Matter" or gas within allowing formation.
@DeathsWill228 Those new stars are beginning to form in places where there is not enough material to go fusing into a star. Yet it does. So even our great explanation of how our little sun begun, might be wrong.
Yet again I have to say, I love science. why? because it gives us ways to find truth by knowing the facts.
But I must tell you, that science should always be updated. even if we are a 110% accurate its the true fact. Updating our most simple science might open our eyes to new thinking
@viezeman That is of course matter that we can not see, not actually invisible. It isn't that difficult to find new stars there is plenty of interstellar gas to go around for new star formation. Perhaps these random stars are formed by Brown Giants that had just gotten enough matter X amount of years ago (however far away it is) to ignite into a star and the light is just now reaching us. Not very surprising.
@viezeman I love science too and it is always advancing and improving, but you have to always be very skeptical and that means quite stubborn as well. What you have provided is not much evidence against our view of the Universe. In fact it can be soundly explained by it. You really have to have some more groundbreaking data to really change the idea since it is so well founded.
Indeed your right about the fact, science can produce. Yet science is a way to find facts, hundreds of years ago science was not up to the standards it is today. In scientific way they explained the earth to be flat. Science is a good thing in this society. since it brings us profit, health and wealth. But it is not always the truth. Science is here to be ever updated. For example, they just discovered that light could be bend by gravitation in the universe. -->
@viezeman I think about that very thing as well. We are very confident in our ideas just as we were in the past. However, no scientist deserving of the name can go around floundering outrageous ideas just because we may be wrong because we were wrong in the past. STRONG Evidence must be provided to change our ideas or else we are even moreso mislead than we would be if we were just wrong about the topic. Being wrong is a good thing in science, it is a data point used to improve. Get used to it.
Why does a life-form have to be based on carbon? What about silicon? Nitrogen? And why, as Dr Richard Dawkins assumes, does a civilisation have to follow a human mindset of advancement to destruction? Maybe WE are the immature civilisation, needing to destroy ourselves in order to WISE UP and try it again -- like, living in PEACE!!
@david5372 It does not need to be based on carbon. However, we can only trust carbon as a good chemical for life because we are carbon based. There is no doubt that there are other organisms based on other chemicals, however, we can only rely on chemicals that we know can support life. That happens to be water and carbon. I agree with you on the Dawkins comment. Who knows what mindset they could have, their history and mental make up would be so much different from ours.
@DeathsWill228 your whole theory is flawed cause you people keep acting like aliens would be carbon 3d density based physical beings forgetting that is laughable, they all are 4th/5th density physical beings this is part u keep leaving out or not even trying to understand, its like i LOL at the weasals from ceti who trying to talk to aliens with stone age radio waves being stuck on themselves and not admitting there is other dimensions here, stop thinking only 3d is it think outside the box!
@daoc76 Uh, string theory is doing very well and it appears to be that there are about 11, dimensions, give or take. 4th dimension adds time to space so we live in a 4dimensional universe because of space-time. The only reason we are not looking for beings in the 5th dimension and above is because there are only a few of us who can only barely grasp the concept let alone harness the technology needed to connect there. We must make do with what we have. WE are still small, give us time.
This precludes trans-dimensional travels; that said, beings need very little chemical energy, and the speed of light becomes a minimum speed limit. Traveling trans-dimensionally would take us the 100,000 light-years of the galaxy in about 9 days.
how come people who believe in god are so adamant that evolution did not happen and that humans did not evolve from from the species we have found. fossils of. Do they ever consider that maybe evolution is the way that god created man? instead of waving a magic wand and a man materializing out of dirt...and then he takes a rib out of the guy and makes a woman? COME ON!! not giving God much credit..if he made us he started the whole thing off with a single cell..he's a scientist not a magicin
you know what people who blieve in evolution can't proof it but 'nature' by itself tell us there is 'supernatural power' as scientists call it and that is 'God' f**king morrons should accept that!
@shulaceye Uh, nature gives us quite a lot of substantial evidence which your God lacks. Nature does not show us any evidence for God. Just because something is unknown doesn't mean "God did it hur....dur" we used to think that demons and evil spirits were the cause of sickness and that the physicians were fools. Now, modern medicine is based on the germ theory. Gravity is also a theory that Isaac Newton came up with. Also, what evidence is there that it has to be your god if any in power? Zeus?
@shulaceye 1st of all "cant proof"? and second heres some proof, fossils and skeletons of dinosaurs, if evolution didnt exist after the asteroid we would stay small rodents, and humans woudn't exist
If you can find 3 total lies in this, why believe any of it?
youderektube1 1 day ago
This is a paradox, because according to scientist they're hard at work looking for life in other planets, but here in Earth we have evidence of being visited by ET's, we have all this videos all this photos, yet scientist are still looking, either all this photos and evidence are bullshit or the scientist are in denial. Go figure.
Schwarzkald 2 days ago
@Schwarzkald Well, there's a lot of bullshit in this world. Alien, sapient life on Earth is hardly the only controversial and dubious thing about which some people vehemently claim to have insider knowledge - astrology, reptilians, homeopathy, scrying, dowsing, contact with the dead, creationism, religion, Loch Ness monsters...

@dunnono00 Oh no my friend we have found many planets containing water - water H2O is very easy to detect and they have been finding them for years a few years ago they found Gliese 581 c which is huge a Water World.
dilwich123 3 days ago
@dilwich123
Perhaps you're mistaking 581 c for something else. It's generally believed now that Gliese 581 c is outside the "habitable zone" and that it likely has a runaway greenhouse effect. It may have water, but in the form of vapor.
Unfortunately, the media tends to run wild when it comes to discoveries like these, and don't seem to stress enough that liquid water is only "believed" to be there based on a number of factors rather than fully confirmed.
dunnono00 3 days ago
@dunnono00 Im Gutted :( I thought that was the winner......well we still have the Europa moon if we could drill far enough into the little moon they say the squashing effect back and forth as it orbits Jupiter could keep liquid at a reasonable tempreture miles under the ice surface......Lets go ice fishing it would be amazing.

This is basic stuff my man.

ah4fecksake 5 days ago
@oztronix
Clint945 2 weeks ago
@Clint945 Finding bacteria won´t be exciting though :P advanced life is the best :D
kjevo 2 weeks ago
@kjevo
Actually if we could find bacterial spores on comets in our solar system it would be a HUGE scientific milestone, cause then we'd finally have rock solid proof that life can be transported via rocks.
It also VASTLY increases the odds of there being advanced life, if simple stuff can be moved around easily.
Clint945 2 weeks ago
@Clint945 Finding them on comments doesn't mean they can be transported via an impact onto a planet and survive.
TheKres7787 1 week ago
@TheKres7787
I think you mean comets*
They're really REALLY resiliant, As i explained on the last comment.
Please look up how comets and other objects enter our atmosphere and you'll see that (unless said object explodes due to stresses before hitting the ground) the interior of the object is hardly heated, nor shows many signs of damage.
Large objects crashing into water would EASILY be able to take bacterial spores and even living objects into our oceans.
Clint945 1 week ago
@Clint945 Hehe yeah sorry about that. I've watched an experiment where they fired some bacteria through that powerful NASA gun. It simulates impact conditions of a comet. They used the strongest, or one of the strongest, bacteria available, and it didn't survive the impact. It was just an impact. Comets do still go through a lot of prolonged heat exposure, so chances are even less. I'm not sure I'd expect the huge temperature of atmosphere to not affect the core of the comet.
TheKres7787 1 week ago
@TheKres7787
Clint945 1 week ago
@Clint945 Yeah wasn't really thinking of how "live" they are. Good point. But seriously, I've watched a documentary on National G or History, and they did the cannon experiment for the same reason. They didn't survive in any meaningful form. But I'm not 100% convinced that that experiment is totally legit and final.
Nice info on the comet destruction phase. Thanks, I'll remember that.

MediaFaust 1 month ago
@MediaFaust How does life show negative entropy? What did that guy mean by that, because life is totally entropic, in every way. The only way one could possibly make that assertion is through a value judgment that time is a process of progress, but from a scientific point of view, strictly applying the laws of thermodynamics we are using more matter & energy to do the simplest of things, this is entropic positive feedback as it increases the amount of useless matter & chaos.
2Jakk 1 month ago
@2Jakk Life shows negative entropy by taking the random building blocks of life and organizing it as time progresses into organisms, instead of typical entropy where order progresses toward the chaotic. Evolution shows organisms consistantly becoming more efficient, and typically evolving to use less energy to survive, with the obvious exception of humans. Seen as how humans are only one of millions of forms of life, life would typically be an example of negative entropy.
mazellezes 1 month ago in playlist AlienP Universe aliens Wormhole scifri sheeet
2Jakk 1 month ago
@mazellezes on thinking on this more I have to say that "organizing" "random" building blocks to life, and the single cell to multi cell as progress to complexity are also value judgments that rely heavily on our world views. For instance, we tend to think we are more advanced (complex) then hunter gatherers, but anthropologists looking at existing HG's say they only work about 20hrs a week & spend the rest of the time on art, music, dance etc, w/ a less entropic impact on ..cont..
2Jakk 1 month ago
@mazellezes cont.environment...looking at languages we have "high" context & "low" context languages, more "advanced" need lots and lots of words, english grows by 1000's each year or so, in less advanced people had fewer words, but greater understanding.....I know this "proves" nothing, but its food for thought, a change in perspective/values can totally alter our concept of evolution & progress as a natural feature of entropy.

TheEddywoodwood 3 months ago
@TheEddywoodwood - Of course it's not literal. It's false, just a myth, allegory. And it's nigh time that Christians, Jews, and Muslims realize this. Yet there are still stupid monkeys which insist on the literal truth of their books. They, I say, are truly stupid. If they refuse to acknowledge the reality of science which gave them computers and GPS satellites, solar power etc, & they choose to think that two people were the parents of humanity...then they are stupid.
matreyia 2 months ago
@TheEddywoodwood - The Bible is a collection of allegories. There was & is no God as described in the Bible. I do not know if there is some sort of god out there, nor do I care since It hasn't shown itself. I have other things to take care of... such as the corruption of my own mind with anger, jealousy, greed, lust...etc. No need to add imaginary things to make the job even more confusing.
The same folks would deny scientific progress time & again, even if it benefits them: stem cells etc.
matreyia 2 months ago
@TheEddywoodwood - Why do I say resolutely that the Biblical version of God does not & cannot exist? Again, because the Bible contradicts itself logically. Consider the view that God is eternal. This is absolutely false since to be eternal is to be permanent, to be permanent is to be unchanging...Clearly, in the Bible, God has changed his mind over & over. Even movement of one cell, limb, or thought negates the view that God is eternal/permanent.
matreyia 2 months ago
@TheEddywoodwood -Consider the same principles as applied to the eternal Soul. If a soul were eternal, it could not change, therefore, a soul which is evil could never ever change into a good soul. Furthermore, since all souls were created by God according to the Bible, that negates that the soul is permanent, since anything permanent can't ever be born nor die. End of story.
matreyia 2 months ago
@TheEddywoodwood, If God is a perfect being, why did he create microbial life and natural disasters that can kill people? There is so much evidence for evolution than to believe that a perfect being created such an imperfect universe. You just admitted that the fall of man is an allegory, so technically you're picking and choosing or you're admitting the Genesis account to be a lie. Also if God is such an omniscient being, he created some people fully knowing they will go to hell. God's an ass.

1. sun & moon (or stars) were created 4th day, after plants & water were already created - impossible w/o the sun, plants could not live & there would be only ice. & what did earth orbit before the 4th day?
2. Bible is full of hearsay & unprovable myths & beings, while science is based on research & NOT hearsay & is responsible for wonders such as the computer u use to watch & type messages.
U really need to ask what to trust more?

If logic and reason can't produce proof science shouldn't pull numbers out of the air to suggest how the universe began or the origins of earth. If that were the case then the big bang theory is a flawed theory, but yet they teach it in our education system as fact. How can it be proved beyond a doubt that it happened that way. And by the way it takes a vivid imagination to condure up something that imaginative. Science to me is blinded by their arrogant attitude explaing the unknown as known.
naturalhigh527 3 months ago
@naturalhigh527 They didn't pull the numbers out of the air. It took a lot of effort and thinking for scientists to come up with these theories, unlike religious figures who just pull words out of thin air and call it the truth. And theories are theories, THEY"RE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE FACTS. Facts is what something is, a theory is a guess to WHY something is. And dude, I'm with you, the public education system is wacked, they shouldn't be teaching these theories as facts.
kovona 3 months ago
@naturalhigh527 Its more like "this theory is someone's idea to why that is, and here are his arguments." Blindly teaching children to accept scientific guesses is wrong and completely destroys freethinking. But teaching religious creationism does the same thing, because you're suppose to take it on faith. In the end, its up to what the government wants. A couple hundred years back, yes religion was more practical for them, but now science is what the Big Man wants.

the definition of life at 14:05 also applies to computer viruses.
aegeannavigator 3 months ago
@aegeannavigator hahaha, so how does the code evolve? through windows system errors that make the virus malfunction when it copies itself and the code gets changed over time? XD
it would take millions and millions of windows errors to get to the next step in computer virus evolution!

i'm amazed that they can make assumption about the early history of our planet... "i mean were they there?"
naturalhigh527 3 months ago
@naturalhigh527 You dont need to be there to have a damn good idea of what happened. You can make assumptions about what happened before you were born. Psh, your arrogant you weren't there were you? Of course not but you have the evidence and documentation to support your assumption. Just because you weren't there does not mean you can not understand with confidence about what occurred.
DeathsWill228 3 months ago
@DeathsWill228 If they were asumptions, then they should leave it as that, but what scientist want us to believe is that their asumptions are closer to fact, based on reason. Now I'm not against science, because I can see all the technological, biological, and astrological advancements that have been achieved, but science does not have all the answers to everything. In other words they can speculate those things they can't understand, but they shouldn't teach it as fact. Darwin's missing link??
naturalhigh527 3 months ago
@naturalhigh527 An assumption can become fact when you have so much evidence and reasoning behind it. The wonder of science is the fact that we do not know everything yet. We pursue knowledge. However, there are things in which we have a VERY good understanding of. Cosmic history as one of them. We didnt need to be there to know how, when, and where it happened. This is more than speculation. Darwin has millions of missing links. Which one? Fossilization is rare so we dont have a complete set.
DeathsWill228 3 months ago
@DeathsWill228 Lol, so if you have a good enough geuss, is that what your saying. Theories such as these should be left at that, as it is only plausible truth. I just think they overreach in their theories so much that they are impressed by their own imagination, and try to argue the point convincing others that they have reason to believe their theory to be true. The Darwin theory was only an example. I for one am glad that modernism has played itself out and that postmodernism is more accepted
naturalhigh527 3 months ago
@naturalhigh527 You use guess to take away from its authenticity. You forget the rigorous process that a scientific theory must survive to become a theory. Theories are always left as a plausible truth so they can be modified to the data or outright changed if a conflicting fact destroys it. Imagination has little to do with it. Actually it is about the opposite. Imagination is making something up with no prior evidence, science is the opposite.
DeathsWill228 3 months ago
@DeathsWill228 Evidence! what fcuken evidence are we talking about that goes back millions of years! There is no such evidence no matter how rigorous to suggest such an outcome! just someones estimation based on what they view around them today c'mon whose being arrogant now. Human reason has its limitations, and that knowledge does not inherently leads us to understanding the universe we live in. Imagination has

naturalhigh527 3 months ago
@naturalhigh527 For instance the universal background microwave radiation at about 3 kelvin. Also, the fact that the universe is expanding means that it was once smaller in the past. Sounds reasonable enough doesn't it? There is also an abundance of light elements such as hydrogen which was the main and simplest atomic structure that we know of. You are ignorant of the evidence and ignorant of the strong science behind it. This is the same science you use to power your devices and live life well
DeathsWill228 3 months ago
@DeathsWill228 Still wouldn't stand a chance in a court of law unless they had actual evidence of being there (5.50) 3 billion years ago wtf sounds like someones imagination is running away with them to me. Its this arrogant attitude that reason can make sense of things that they have no real evidence only speculation of things from billions of years ago if that. I mean if you want to believe your relatives were monkeys then they just made a monkeys uncle of you.
naturalhigh527 3 months ago
@naturalhigh527 You speak of your own opinion and imagination and not of the science you know so little about. Actually, the Universe is about 14 to 15 billion years old (there is a much more accurate estimate out there) the earth is around 4 billion years old. Science has a reason to be arrogant because it has the evidence and the research, superstition and personal bias does not, yet claims the know. My relatives weren't monkeys. Again you display how little you actually know about the topic.
DeathsWill228 3 months ago
@DeathsWill228 What a ludacris answer, to suggest that the universe or even Earth is that old is only theorectical it can never ever be proven to be true or even close to being accurate. As much as reason has helped us to progress in society it has not all been inherently good. The engineering science behind the Titanic was a disaster, they still can't prove how the great pyramid was built, if by there standards because people back then were thought of as primative. Its not rocket science
naturalhigh527 3 months ago

viezeman 3 months ago
@viezeman Light can bend, but if anything, that would make what we are seeing older than how we see it not younger (which we already know). If you take a detour from a straight line (which is what light would travel in given absence of gravity) it would take longer to arrive. Gas clouds are condensing due to gravity, but the Universe in whole is expanding. We know very little of inter-galactic space and whats in it. There could be some what "Invisible Matter" or gas within allowing formation.
DeathsWill228 3 months ago
@DeathsWill228 Those new stars are beginning to form in places where there is not enough material to go fusing into a star. Yet it does. So even our great explanation of how our little sun begun, might be wrong.
Yet again I have to say, I love science. why? because it gives us ways to find truth by knowing the facts.
But I must tell you, that science should always be updated. even if we are a 110% accurate its the true fact. Updating our most simple science might open our eyes to new thinking
viezeman 3 months ago
@viezeman That is of course matter that we can not see, not actually invisible. It isn't that difficult to find new stars there is plenty of interstellar gas to go around for new star formation. Perhaps these random stars are formed by Brown Giants that had just gotten enough matter X amount of years ago (however far away it is) to ignite into a star and the light is just now reaching us. Not very surprising.
DeathsWill228 3 months ago
@viezeman I love science too and it is always advancing and improving, but you have to always be very skeptical and that means quite stubborn as well. What you have provided is not much evidence against our view of the Universe. In fact it can be soundly explained by it. You really have to have some more groundbreaking data to really change the idea since it is so well founded.
DeathsWill228 3 months ago
@DeathsWill228
viezeman 3 months ago

Maybe WE are the immature civilisation, needing to destroy ourselves in order to WISE UP and try it again -- like, living in PEACE!!
david5372 4 months ago
@david5372 It does not need to be based on carbon. However, we can only trust carbon as a good chemical for life because we are carbon based. There is no doubt that there are other organisms based on other chemicals, however, we can only rely on chemicals that we know can support life. That happens to be water and carbon. I agree with you on the Dawkins comment. Who knows what mindset they could have, their history and mental make up would be so much different from ours.
DeathsWill228 3 months ago
@DeathsWill228 your whole theory is flawed cause you people keep acting like aliens would be carbon 3d density based physical beings forgetting that is laughable, they all are 4th/5th density physical beings this is part u keep leaving out or not even trying to understand, its like i LOL at the weasals from ceti who trying to talk to aliens with stone age radio waves being stuck on themselves and not admitting there is other dimensions here, stop thinking only 3d is it think outside the box!
daoc76 3 months ago
@daoc76 Uh, string theory is doing very well and it appears to be that there are about 11, dimensions, give or take. 4th dimension adds time to space so we live in a 4dimensional universe because of space-time. The only reason we are not looking for beings in the 5th dimension and above is because there are only a few of us who can only barely grasp the concept let alone harness the technology needed to connect there. We must make do with what we have. WE are still small, give us time.
DeathsWill228 3 months ago
This precludes trans-dimensional travels; that said, beings need very little chemical energy, and the speed of light becomes a minimum speed limit. Traveling trans-dimensionally would take us the 100,000 light-years of the galaxy in about 9 days.
Think about it....

how come people who believe in god are so adamant that evolution did not happen and that humans did not evolve from from the species we have found. fossils of. Do they ever consider that maybe evolution is the way that god created man? instead of waving a magic wand and a man materializing out of dirt...and then he takes a rib out of the guy and makes a woman? COME ON!! not giving God much credit..if he made us he started the whole thing off with a single cell..he's a scientist not a magicin
elasticaddict 4 months ago
you know what people who blieve in evolution can't proof it but 'nature' by itself tell us there is 'supernatural power' as scientists call it and that is 'God' f**king morrons should accept that!
shulaceye 4 months ago
@shulaceye evolution has been proven and nature does not tell us that.
shadowninjaist 4 months ago
@shulaceye Uh, nature gives us quite a lot of substantial evidence which your God lacks. Nature does not show us any evidence for God. Just because something is unknown doesn't mean "God did it hur....dur" we used to think that demons and evil spirits were the cause of sickness and that the physicians were fools. Now, modern medicine is based on the germ theory. Gravity is also a theory that Isaac Newton came up with. Also, what evidence is there that it has to be your god if any in power? Zeus?
DeathsWill228 4 months ago
@shulaceye 1st of all "cant proof"? and second heres some proof, fossils and skeletons of dinosaurs, if evolution didnt exist after the asteroid we would stay small rodents, and humans woudn't exist
