@TheElsadogge
I di'nt, I added a one inch extension made of card stock to the front of the smokebox. It gives it a better proportion and looks more american.

I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE YOUR VISION AND SKILL, YOU ARE A TRUE CRAFTSMAN. IN MY OPINION, THE WEAKEST LINK ON THE WILESCO TRACTION ENGINES IS THE HORRIBLE LOOKING WHEELS. WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR WHEELS FOR YOUR MODIFIED VERSION?
steaminon1 1 year ago
@steaminon1 I made inserts to fit in the wheels, after painting the big ugly spokes black.
Som people have knoked out the wilesco spokes and placed a whole Mamod wheel inside, those look prety good.
Thanks for the compliment.
wow. goog job. greatings from the fatherland of your engine ;-)

The flywheel is the original except I covered over the outside if it with a thin sheet metal disk and painted it. No more big stupid holes.
