  • brak wrażliwości muzycznej...

  • fantastic, it;s a lot better playing it fast than slow. it;s sounds millions of times better.!!!!

  • Your piano needs tuning...Nice playing although!!!!

  • is there anoter verson cuz i swear that the one in my keybord sounds diffrent.

    but ur good.

  • very skillfull!!

  • oh contrare!

    you ARE

  • you have the keys memorized... thats about it.. nocturne is supposed to have a very delicate beginning and then get progressively faster. calm way down and feel the emotion, get into it, don't just slam the memorized keys... noob

  • rushed..take the time to feel the music forget the sheet music completely and and play with your fingers, feel the keys, feel the emotion

  • Love your piano! It's sound is truly nice :O

  • Good song!! please, make a tutorial

    min.

1:27 to 1:40 I have some mistakes pleaseeee!!

  • The boy playing is my brother...I think it's wonderful and I am truly proud of him :)

  • no skill??

    that's obviously skill right there....

anywayz... did you just do a peace sign while you were playing...

    its at the beginning

  • lol it really looks like, never noticed :D

  • Your piano may be out of tune and your skills may not be master level, but you obviously have put a lot of time into learning this and I can tell you love it. Nice job.

  • a bit heavy in the left hand...but part from that not bad at all...!!

  • I love this song ...... T___T

  • Please find a piano tuner. Piano is waay out of tune.

  • I think out of tune pianos sound quite nice :]]

  • mine sure doesn't xD

  • Very good, nice work

    I love it

    Philippe. :)

  • Very nice, all things considered.

  • Nice Chairs bro! hahahahaa

  • hmmmm nice work, i love this piece;) so romantic.... waht is it called?

  • Nocturne In E Minor, Op. 72, No. 1

  • Fantastic..

  • ACE CHAIRS!

  • COOOOOL:)

  • your mic does not do your piano justice, or its treble is just overwhelming. either way good interpretation of op. 72 people are saying it's too fast because it is difficult to communicate the subtle dynamics of this piece when rushed. but you definitely have the chops 5 stars.

  • Great Playing of this nocturne. Keep playing

    Krerk.

  • No, I love the way it's played.

Slow is nice too, but it doesn't need to be played so traditionally. Sometimes, it's better to think outside of the box.

Nicely done. I've fallen in love with this piece.

  • nice nice:)

  • his tempo is only slightly faster then wat it should be according to the metronome. stop saying its too fast.

  • if you think slower is boring, then play beethoven or rachmaninov or something else. Listen how Rubinstain plays this nocturne. I listen to Rubinstein version and i listen to your version and yours is insulting. That is not a nocturne, that is definitely not chopin. Sorry!

  • The left hand melody should be legato and smooth ! Please notice the background and reason that Chopin compose this piece , he is on the way home on a boat , it is soft and song like ! I am just an amateur piano player , please don't mind my suggestion !

  • slower is more beautiful and it gives a listener a sense he's hearing a nocturne instead of something like a waltz etc.

  • All you guys telling me it's too fast... That's the way I like it! I'll never play it slower, slower is boring :(

  • @gianpa Sir, I agree with you. If you play slower, it will lose the attention of the listener. Every piece must keep the listener moving. If you play it slow(er), you will lose the attention and the melodic lines. Well done, now all we need is a Steinway D

  • @gianpa No, slower is not boring. Just feel the emotion and you`ll find out that Andante is the best tempo of such a nocturne.

  • i played this exact same piece

its my favorite nocturne of his (my all time favorite of his is the no.4 ballade)

too hard, try playing softer, and SLOW DOWN

    and then SLOW DOWN

    then some more SLOWING DOWN

if i get a chance, ill upload me playing it lol

  • christ almighty

  • Good playing technically and I enjoyed listening very much. Try a slower tempo and a softer left hand on some parts. I also noticed, it could be the upright piano that makes it a little harder to make a smooth sound. My piano is an extremely bright JAZZ piano and I play classical on it, so you can imagine how bad some peices sound on it!

    keep playing!

  • I enjoyed it too, kinda different... wif own unique style, cool:D

  • it's good.. but slow it down....

  • One thing's for sure, dude, I don't like your version; but you're right, the left hand is not that fast, it's just unbearably loud. the whole piece, barring a few moments, sounds too loud (kinda forte, & unless I'm mastaken, this is supposed to be piano...)

anyway your trills are good, your technique on the right hand is okay, it's the left hand that notably falls short of expectations.

& oh, I've uploaded my version.

    Maria

  • Oh my god. slowwwwwwwwww dowwwwwwwwwwwwn. this is not a race. This is a nocturne. I'll upload my version soonish. slowwwwwwww dowwwwwwwwwwn. I repeat: slowwwwwwwww dowwwwwwwwwwwwn. Listen more to the great masters playing it. The left hand is slower, very soft & delicate sounding.

That was crude, the way you played it.

  • mmm I checked on the score and it says "andante (69)" and it's just how I play it... I play it slower but not faster. Anyways it may be faster than you like it but it's not like "oh my god! this is super fast! slow down!"... I listened a lot of "great masters" that play this one faster than me...

  • Alot of it might be that piano too. Of course, I agree, he does play it pretty fast lacking dynamics, but eh, we're not all Horowitz, right?

  • This is my favorite nocturne too! :)

Overall, the dynamic is much too loud for what is marked in the score (it shouldn't really open up until about the third page), and there are a couple of rhythmic mistakes, but your trills are really good and it was a nice performance. I'd suggest to try having a little bit of a lighter touch at the beginning.

I wouldn't say that you're "not that good" either, you definitely have talent that could be developed

  • Not that good. The DYNAMICS is bad. The switch from soft to loud was too abrupt.

  • I don't like op9n2 but I love op 9n1, it's one of the best :)

  • hey man nice job! if you love chopin nocturnes you should try his most famous one op. 9 no 2, you should check out my nocturne i played in my videos and tell me what you think...keep up the good work

  • That was an extrodinary performance! I enjoyed watching every second of it :D

  • WoW!! Soo Damnn COOLL!!!!!!

  • you're great!!! oh man,you did play it very well...I like it a lot!!!=D

  • very good!!!

  • How long have you been playing? I want to study classical piano to play like you in this video. It was good, piano being out of tune aside.

  • I know it's out of tune, but i don't play it very much so I don't feel like I have to spend money on it. I'm not that good and that's not that hard, just download sheetmusic (old music doesn't have copyright, just try on www.sheetmusicarchive.net) and try really hard ;)

  • very nice job. i stand impressed...

  • wow.. that was really.. good.... i don't know if i'd ever be able to play the faster parts the way you did w/o panicking... lol. gj, you owned that piece.

  • ooh nice piano .. good job

  • I know i didnt do well on Fue El;ise but i don't feel like getting n e better at it cuz im like egtting sick of that song...so ya idc what ppl think of it ...its my best...well moonlight sonata is my best...watch that if you want...lol

  • lol it's funny the way you use the left hand to get the right hand nineths (c'mon it's not that far, you can do it! but if you just can't it's ok). This one was better than fur elise but, apart from the errors, one thing I don't like is dynamic. You should work on it. It's all supposed to be pianissimo and the "tam-dadam" thing should come out of the pianissimo (you do quite the contrary). And i don't understand why you speed up in the and...

keep praticing and it will come out fine ;)

  • Well i don't play that well cuz im only 14 and just started like not even a year ago ...so im a beginer..and i only started moonlight sonata in like oct. and finished the last day of 2OO5 [i wanted to finish b4 the new year...lol] ya so i know if get better ...cuz i knwo i'll be playing piano for the rest of my life...

  • gianpaa sei bravissimoo :D
