I recently made a priest and chose to be a night elf, mainly cuz I really wanted to be a NE. I felt like i should have picked a human since they get a 5% spirit bonus, but I didnt want to. Was this a mistake??

give a paladin a try. Armored, can heal, and does melee and magic at once. Try a draenei or a human, i dont think dwarves make good ones personally.

all classes are different wen it comes to healing. but paladins are AMAZING for healing raids, as are druids and priests. i really do not recomend healing as a shamman because they drain mana quickly, so in raids and instances, it will get you wiped

they wear plate... can heal... have stuns... have a 12 period of invincibility (bubble)... and have a move that heals them back to full health and also restores mana... i know its a long CD but its still ridiculous...

The Druid is a great raid healer because of the Battle Rez and and the heals over time effects.

The Paladin makes a great Battleground/ Arena healer because of the quick heals and the plate armor so they can take more damage then the other healing classes

i would say druid is much better than the paladin in bg's /arena or we can say all around healer. if the hunter use the poison which is the mana drain or the priest use the mana burn the pally cant do anything about that which is so useful in arena and druids are skilld by using catform or bearform or cure the posion and most paladin pwnd by the druids by using charge-stunt cyclone all over the time and thats why druids are so op in arena, so plate armor doesnt help it's all about skills.

I have a paladin and i can already say that paladins are not superior to priests when it comes to healing. As a priest you can bubble everyone and heal them where as a paladin it takes time to get to every single one, and when you are a dps paladin, its nearly impossible to focus on healing someone.
