my fucking god. that white noise sound is annoying lol. I can't believe I liked this game way back when. I do remember it being fun though. Off to youtube search some Wardner now x)
The sound in this game is horrid (though I have fond memories of this game as a kid) but that walking noise and the repetitive music gets on your nerves after a while!
i remember some kind of glitch back then ( when i was a child i mean), that a golden enemy appears and no matter how many times you shoot at him he never dies...
and that was the final of the game for us, is the first time that i see the real final, it's weird
Glad to see that the arcade ending is slightly better than the shitty NES one. And if you don't know what the NES ending is like, play your ass off to get through the entire game like I did; then you'll see what I'm talking about.
I remember playing this for Nintendo as a kid...then when I would go to the arcade, I would wonder why everything looked and sounded better, and some scenes were actually different. Yes I was a kid, and now as an adult I obviously understand, but its just one of those things that pisses you off as a kid. This was obvious in Super Mario Brothers where someone along the line like world 6-2 or something like that, was completely different or didnt even exist on Nintendo's version....not sure
What is this!? When I played this game with emulator there was shitload of those green jumping thingies at the pyramid... In the video there are only 2? Is this USA version some kind of different than JP version or what...
Yeah, there is a lot of different enemy placement between version. If my memory serves me correct, the US version had an exclusive skeleton-riding-ostrich enemy.
have you ever seen the boomerang trick on the last boss if you come in the room from the side? he dies in a couple hits.

Very nice, Maichell. I beat the NES version of the game yesterday evening and you seem to make a really tough video game look easy.

I think its very easy mode or some cheat mode.
I prefer the hard mode.. The arcade was tough as hell.. Here the bullets are faster than normal.
