  • this was a really great Band and if on LP it is one of the holy grails of collectors worldwide ;)) !!

(no i do not have the orig. LP but a good friend of mine gave me the recorded Lp on tape some years ago, I love to listen to this freaky band)

  • I especially like "Schizofrenia" and "Another Kinda Love" of this album. From the late 60's to the 70's, there were many freaky bands in Sweden, for example, Parson Sound, International Harvester, Harvester, Trad Gras och Stenar, Arbete och Fritid, Mecki Mark Men, Baby Grandmothers, Algarnas Tradgard and this!

  • @elephanta2

Algarnas tradgard - The album framtiden ... (dont remember the full name ) from 1972/73,

that was a good classical-indian-music (raga) influenced and psychedelic LP. I remember listened to it :)

    very psychy

  • @WatchBlueSkies it was the LP with the Hieronymus Bosch garden of delights image on the cover... :)

  • I had been aware of it until you said...do you know Ithaca "A Game For All Who Know"? The jacket cover is based on William Blake's painting, as deformed as this, haha!

  • Ooops! "I had never been" is correct.

  • I was recently aware that Swedish psycedelic prog established its unique stlye a few years earlier than krautrock. Also Arbete och Fritid is great, because they made avant-garde albums like the 60's Pink Floyd in the Abba's times!

  • this is crazy!! tnx @elephanta!!!

  • You are welcome!
