It's so weird that Super Namek Piccolo was first equal to Cell and after absorbing a little town of human's with power level 3 or something all of a sudden he can take Piccolo hands down.

This means we're talkin about a increase in power of 5000, fine, 10.000, or even 50.000 if you take many multiple towns. But in this saga we're long talking about millions in power level so WTF. The Namek should have been equal to this form of Cell.

@MegaBlobbers Not really much of a plot hole. 17's fusion effects are the same as regular fusion: Stronger than the fusee's combined. Cell is just merely absorption. Also, Super 17 got as strong as a Super Saiyan 4 because of absorbing so much energy. Vegeta's Final Shine, Goku's Super Saiyan Kamehameha and SS4 Kamehameha X10.

I always wondered something, 17 and 18 don't seem as vicious and out for violence as they did in future trunk's timeline, it also seemed like 17 was a little worried about piccolo. I wonder what happened to make them change like that?

@hypershadic88 it was stated by trunks that these androids are much different then the ones from his timeline like you said the one from the trunks timeline are more sadistic and vicious while these ones are more laid-back and carefreee apparently according to Piccolo the time line changed because trunks kept going back and forth in the timeline making his existence in the past screw up the space time continuim or something like that

As you know, Gero's only goal was to kill Goku. In Trunks' timeline, we know he died before Gero finished Androids 17 & 18's programming. With Gero's goal ruined, he, instead, programmed the Androids for the next best thing, world domination, which gives you crazy cold-hearted 17 & 18. They're weaker because there was no need for Gero to make them any stronger with Goku already dead, which is why, in this timeline, they are much stronger and more laid back.

That part made me wonder too, and it's obviously up for debate. Even so, I don't believe they'd actually go about killing anyone and everyone. As 17 fought Piccolo, I seriously doubt he'd have killed him in the end; when Cell appeared, 17 appeared like Piccolo's friend, at least to me. Going back though, they'd probably just do anything they wanted regardless of the law, well, 17 at least. 18 seems more conservative and focused. 17 basically wants to enjoy life.

Also, the reason why Goku's Heart Virus took way longer to take affect than what Trunks said was because, in Trunks' timeline, Goku had to go SSJ to fight off Frieza and King Cold. In the "normal" timeline, Trunks took care of Frieza and K.C. himself so Goku didn't have to go SSJ. In short, not going SSJ slowed down the Heart Virus, which is what screwed things up a little bit.
