guiles forward dash (fadc) > ultra is possible however its not worth the effort you throw on it. too impractical in match. even back dash > ultra is possible but you will hurt your finger and i mean it lol.
honestly its not worth it... but i dont think its quite possible because you have to do downback, downforward, downback, upforward. and you can back dash by doing downback, downback... the charge system is lenient but i still doubt that back or forward dash ultra is possible for guile or vega

ugh... you moron, This video says that it is YES, but I said it didnt seem possible to do Guile or Vega Ultra from a dash, which on paper it shouldnt work, and same can be said for Chun-Li cr.lk->EX Legs, because cr.lkis only +4 on hit and EX Legs is 5-6 frame start up, so it shouldnt connect... but it does. At the time I made this video it wasnt known that you could backdash Ultra with Guile, it wasnt discovered till like 3-4 months after release. Same with walk forward Ultra

I was trying to practice this before I saw the video. Because it was just a thought lol But this video proves that it's possible! Back-dash Ultra? How do you do it exactly? Is it the same idea as the forward-dash Ultra? Because I can do that with next to no problem but I can't pull off the back-dash one. Is the timing different?
It's rather easy, but invaluable sometimes when u dash a lot in-game. What you do is either you do a focus attack and start charging back, then press forward then dash back (back, back) to get out of focus attack then immediatly press forward + 3K. You can always use the forward dash to get out of the focus attack then do back, forward + 3K to do a forward dash ultra. The other way around is to just skip the focus attack because it's such a giveaway most of the times.
But, as Biginitiald has already stated, sometimes it's easier to do an extra b,f motion because of the animation. But it's totally up to you how good you are at frame-execution.
No it is not, its just easier to do it with a joystick, all my combos I can do on a regular Xbox360 controller... but they are harder to execute perfectly. With a Arcade Joystick its easier and more reliable... for me anyway, others prefer controllers

you have to input and extra back forward motion because the back dash takes so many frames to complete before she is able to do anything else

Basically, yes. But it's somewhat harder to do with Vega (claw) and Guile.

because the backdash animation takes a little longer than the forward dash, and the extra b, f keeps the motions going to that you can still Ultra
cause if you stop then you lose charge and motions
