Your dealing with people unwilling to tolerate diversity. I'm Congolese, speak two bantu trade languages, my parents speak 4 all together their from two different Bantu ethnic groups. And the many languages in Congo are bantu as the people. Lumumba was killed because of secessionist movement in Katanga which didn't want to hand complete power to the central government, Even though he was a liberator he weilded a huge hammer some regions wanted autonomous rule, in the same manner as many other leader including Halie Selassie when he ignored the mass.

Lingala- batu kikongo-Batu, tetela-Batu-Swahili-Bantu, Kiluba-Bantu, Bemba-bantu, Zulu-abantu, xhosa-abantu,kikuyu-bantu, fang-batu, shona-bantu the list can go on just because it isn't used by people in west africa, north africa, or the horn doesn't mean us the people in central, southern and eastern africa who are more connected through history and common mother tongue don't understand what it means. the languages are almost similar it's like Latin with french, spanish, and portuguese.

Congo borders nine African countries, couple of which have an identity problem, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and Sudan must I describe the history of this countries or the name just is engouh. Bantu is about Culture, Customs, Traditional Similiarities, togetherness. it will not take Nuclear science to knoe, that. Plus Bantu trace their ancestry to one songle place. at the border with Cameroun and Nigeria.

Please explain to me how the word Bantu is made up by a white man in 1800? Your looking at a place were people claim to be homogenous and not tolerant of others, that's why the bullets keep firing in Somalia. They are divide into clans amongst one tribe. Diversity has commonality and in this case Bantu Africa commonality lies in it rooted past or they wouldn't understand each other. Instead of labeling the continent you should understand the landscape before those border were created. "Tricknology" what field of study is that?Bantu isn't racial category it's cultural. and looks vary within the community. You can be light, dark, tall short, fat skinny but still be Bantu. see in Congo we acknowledge William Sheppard a black american who coined the term "Crime Against Humanity" in regards to the colonial rule in Congo, He showed the world what colonial conquest was doing to Africa, brought it into the limelight thus sparking a pan-africanist movement. Lumumba inspiration was homegrown, nkrumah homegrown, kenyatta homegrwon, marcus was also homegrown. The inspiration came from the environment though they have commonality because it was the same struggle everywhere.
