i am doing much better now, but still i toss a cure cd in my cdplayer, when i wanna feel the typical the cure melancholy and go back to those good old days where everything seemed so much easier..
If only The Cure could have stayed this way, if only their music was more consistent, their line-up more consistent. If they would just stick to making this dark atmospheric yet always melodic music, they could have been the best band in the world.
this was a good album i remember when i bought this...i was like well its ok,then it just stayed in me head it reminds me when i was in the houston retriet
no, it's not even that 80's goth. That's Sister of Mercy and other stuff. I know wikipedia says The Cure are goth, but i dont know why...
About the Cure, only the look reminds me of goth, but the music is not goth at all. Even Robert said he hates the "goth" label, and that they're not goth.
i was stuck on my tv screen when they played it !!!

The Cure is pop-rock. Always have been.
This song alone has gotten me through a number of break-ups.
I love the Bloodflowers album. I've worn out 4 copies, but in my mind it is the pinnacle performance of my favorite band. Best album ever.

i love when rob plays his fender vi. its sounds much better (smooth) than the baritone schecter 6-string crap-bass. great performance!

this is not goth, sorry:P it's more alternative with much sadness...:D
susanaferenc 3 years ago 15
well if you mean today's goth, its not.
This was Goth from the 80s. The make up, the hair, music.
And of course, by goth, I do not mean Cradle Of Filth and all that style in that reign... :P
