Season 5 wasn't really that bad, but it isn't that good either. It had some good points but the movie was so short! and so off the storyline.

Plus, since when did Digimon become related to Norse Mythology? Yggdrasil, the world tree? The Royal knights? Seriously?

@ShironTheWindragon The Royal Knights were in Digimon Frontier, I don't know what your point is. Yggdrassil is just a tree that appears every here and there in any anime or videogame (or even a simple character's name)

Oh my God....Did you ever read anything about what Yggdrasil is? Yggdrasil is the World Tree in Norse Mythology. The tree that connects Asgard, Midgard and Nifleheim. AKA Heaven, Earth and Hell. Yggdrasil didn't came from anime or video games.

@i think it was good in the battle against the royal knight it could have been longer but i guess they ran out of episode space but saver or data squad was a good series yes the movie was of the topic but the battle against diaboromon was off topic plus they were really try to explain more about digi soul so cant coplain about that but i guess they could of had gaomon and agumon digivolve to victory greymon and zd guramon to fight agromon together

NONE of the seasons have any connection to each other. The ONLY seasons that had an actual connection was season 1 and 2 (The Adventure Seasons). Seasons 3-5 (Tamers, Frontier and Savers) have absolutely nothing to do with each other or the first two seasons.

Well, yes and no. They tried to put some serious reason why Digimon and Human should work together and they tried to give the Human one more function then just enable the evolution.

I personaly do not like the way they made it and especialy the way the characters act - it seems unrealistic to me.

But do not take my comment like I did not like it at all. Maybe this was not my most favourite season, but still it is Digimon season - and that means something to me.

Even though I don't watch digimon anymore (I just saw this and was like, eh, what the hell) You can see a drastic jump from season 1's animation compared to whatever season this is... 5?

They decided to.... season 1-4 hadthe same basic animation style, but for 5, they wanted the story to appeal to a wider audience range, so the story was a little darker and they changed the style the people were drawn in so it'd look more like other anime around.

Well Royal Knights have there own idea of justice perhaps in this series there justice is the wrong kind of justice and well who said there wasen't one or more Guilmon who could digivolve to Gallantmon? Once a digimon is made they multiply just like Diaboromon he was made and was the only digimon of his kind. Yet in a movie of Season 2 and in a few episodes in Season 3 he was shown so the only answer is digimon multiply regaurdless if they were original or not.

The Royal Knights are a group of digimon 13 to be exact who feel its there duty to protect the digital world unfoutunatly sometimes there justice is the wrong kind and wind up doing more bad then good. I still wonder what role they play in Savers.

They actually apeared in the seasons Omnimon was in "Our War Game" were Wargreymon and MetalGarurumon fused for the first time. Magnamon appeared in Season 2,Gallantmon in 3,Crusadermon and Dynasmon in 4. and now 9 of them will appear in Savers.

Well, multiplying would make a sense if it was in Tamers Dimension. But since there is no Takato and never was, in the Savers dimension should never be Guilmon at all as I see it. But the authors of the story do not worry about that too much. They have even put the same voice for Dukemon - the voice of innocent naive little drake with a little knowledge about world or whatsoever. But that is maybe the reason why I like him even here in Savers so much. He reminds me of Guilmon.

No they are Royal Knights. But Gallantmon is an orginal digimon created by Takato so they are confusing me with Gallantmon's apprence in this digimon seris as they did with Frontier.
