  • Dude - that "pole" is called a roll bar

  • OMG NO METAL PEDALS! THATS NO RACE CAR!!!

  • @sbghms ever tried heel and toeing when it's it's wet and you've got metal pedals... there's no where near as much grip! We have rubber overlays on our pedals too

  • Strange that he's wasting time by not left foot braking.........

  • Looks like cupholders on the left of his steering wheel.

  • Learn the definition of double clutching and get back to me. @ 1;28, dropped 2 gears, @ 2;12 , dropped 2 gears. AT all of the times you are referencing, he is dropping 2 gears< heel and toeing each downshift . I drive in the cintinental tires series as a pro for 2 years. No more double-clutching is necessary

  • HIS FOOT REST IS THAT FUCKIN POLE!

  • There's no more need to double clutch in current race cars. There is no time that Bill ever double clutches in this video.

  • @mj33327 Except at 1:28, and 2:12, and 3:04, and 3:43... :-)

  • @eatfeet4 no double clutching in this

  • More left foot braking Bill!

  • @lancenimrod1 I think he is double clutching because when he drops into that low of a gear, double clutching helps the clutch grab better when you are trying to downshift into higher RPMs.

  • why is he burping the gas on EVERY down shift? doesnt look like hes heel towing.. wouldnt make sense if he was either, so is he rev matching for a smoother downshift?

thats the only thing that makes sense to me and my medicated brain right now, better matching the revs between the engine and synchros in the tranny means a not so jerky gear exchange ie;tires dont wont lock up as hard, makes m3 less of a handle under heavy late breaking? Im sure the extra revs help leaving the corners though. :P

  • @MoistNapkin He's rev-matching every downshift. He is using the heel-toe method, but he is using what I call the 1/2 method. 1/3 of his foot is on brake, while using the other 2/3 to blip the throttle. This method works much better for people with larger feet, while people with smaller feet use the straight heel-toe or toe-heel method. Rev matching keeps your rear-end from locking up and sending your rear bye-bye. When you are on the verge of max grip, you can not afford even a small jerk.

  • @Qweklain okay Thanks, I thought that was the reason.. god thats some slick foot work.

  • No semi-auto transmission allowed?

  • Notice NO left foot braking.

  • He is shifting the gears very slow..........

  • @NikosXatsas I'm sure he can granny shift but still get around that track a lot faster than you

  • @tonggi How do you know if he is faster than me?

  • @NikosXatsas because if you were, we would have heard of you ;)

  • @NikosXatsas seems pretty fast to me.

  • @lancenimrod1 he's only down shifting from 5th to 4th to 3rd. He not slowing down enough to have to shift into 2nd or 1st gears.

  • fast heel toe! buy Bill some new gloves hes earned em!

  • Did you guys change the brake pedal to the bmw automatic/dsg pedal? Great video!
