dont get me wrong im a fan of berto but to say that he beats pac, cotto, mayweather. i dont think so. he looked great when he fought fighters that werent at his level but when he fought a veteran like collazo. he was in the fight of his life.when he faced urango he won by UD but he didnt really hurt urango. he won on points. so to say that he beats pac, cotto , mayweather is a bit of an exaggeration.

Berto amazing speed and lots of heart maybe needs a real world class trainer though. Last time against Collazo he was owning him on the outside but still went on the inside. I think that was a good learning experience for him.

I agree man...he has a good trainer now but maybe a guy like Freddie Roach could take this guy to the peak of his potential. The sky's the limit for him though: Haitian by way of Florida, Sensation by way of skill!!!

yeah i was thinking the same thing, he's been with his trainer a long time and they know each other pretty well, but i wonder how good a trianer he actually is. if he can hook up with a Roach and listen like pacman he might be unbeatable.

Nice interview. Berto's talented but no way man he's not ready to take on the big dogs yet, especially Cotto. Maybe a year at minimum, 2 would be a good wait as he improves and progresses into the fighter that ppl predict him to blossom into. But not now Andre, lol...calm your horses. Stay focused, work hard as u been doin, focus on finishin off urango, then go on from there. Berto's defense would have to improve significantly to be ready to fight guys like Cotto. He's humble tho so thats cool!
