  • dude this is so true.the ipod or what the i stands for the idiot pod.come on why do you need so much different items to make your ipod play.a seperate thing to play the fm radio.the only way you can put music on iy is from the itunes site then there copyrighted come on just get a regular mp3 player and make your own playlists,sorry apple doen't make better things.there big mistake is the mac pc.

  • Though I do get the point of this ad, and admire how it points out that a company like Apple isn't really in it for the good of humanity, I think it places too much responsibility on companies. Yeah, they sell conformity. Because conformity sells. Because a lot of people actually want to be "just like everybody else". It's when the company tries to sell conformity by calling it "freedom" or "unique" or "just be yourself" that we should call them on their hypocrisy.

  • The ipod revolution is nothing like 1984. Remember when a PC used c: down in the corner and the MAC came out with icons? That was a revolution. Apple has merely just kept making cool products thinking that if they are cool, people will eventually see the brilliance in them and buy them. The ipod is a great product. That's why we buy it. It is revolutionary--but it's not Apple who is forcing it on us, it's us who want it.

  • Actually, if you look up the original ad there was not any iPod on her. It was added in recently by either Apple, or a very dedicated fan.

  • This isn't the first mac-like ad with ipods put into an old commercial. When "1984" was re-released 20 years after it's introduction, the chick was using an Ipod while throwing the hammer into the screen, marking 20 years in advanced technology between the Mac's intro and Ipod.

  • Comparativement a Microsoft, Apple écoute "le moindrement" ses clients et fait ses ordinateurs et choses pour que le consommateur soit content et qu'eux rapporte de l'argent.
