There were some technical issues affecting audio quality experienced on Tuesday night, however these have since been rectified and no problems were experienced during last nights performance.

These grabs have better audio than the performance. While the acoustics of the Concert Hall might work for a regular opera, they dont work for this. I too found whole sections impossible to hear. Jørn Utzon wouldnt be embarrassed by the material of Jerry Springer. Hed be embarrassed that his creation was woefully inadequate to deliver a quality product. Acer Arena offers better acoustics. If the Opera house was hoping this would bring a more youthful audience, they completely missed the mark.

Funny how they dont show anyone complaining about the shocking sound quality on opening night (when these grabs were filmed). Whole sections or dialogue or song were inaudible, and the poor usher I spoke to at interval had been deluged with complaints. Not nearly the standard I expect from the Opera House or after forking out 100 bucks.
