haha dude me to, can get so pissed at those ignorant ppl calling dubstep dub, its obvious dubstep got some influences of dub music (the slow bpm fr example, ometimes the kick, snare too but in another way), but it got also some influences of drum n bass and other genres so l why don't you understand the difference between dub & dubstep, dub comes from reggae music but then slower, and is more like to be played or recorded by live instruments (guitars bass drums etc).
