think this was the last classic album - 1980 the latest i own - their early albums are in my opinion some of the greatest albums ever recorded - plenty of chillout sessions to those on Sunday mornings back in my ravin days
Man, I listed to this very track while observing on Kitt Peak. It's great music to have echoing in the dome on a dry cold night while you slew the telescope and view the milky way through the observatory dome from one region to another then go to look at Tucson and watch the city lights on the horizon and I-10 going off into New Mexico. I used to listen to this as a teenager in the 80's dreaming of getting into astronomy so it's a real treat to bridge those days with today when I work at night.
Honestly, i don't really like J.M. I mean i liked him when i was younger, but "grew up" of him. I must admit tho, that til now i like Oxygene 2,4 and 5 and Equinoxe 4.
Perhaps that's a matter of taste.. But what really counts is what you feel and what levels can your mind reach listening to the music like TD or J.M. Whats beauty and high class music can teach you.
Im 38 yrs young and Ima fan of TD since... I remember. Since i've heard them for the very first time, not even sure how many yrs ago.
I've no words to describe what I feel listening to their albums, but - thats obvious - I've my favs. Tangram is one of them. This album touches the most sensitive parts of my soul.
I wonder whats the difference between a brain creating pure beauty like these guys and a brain that created a landmine. Where the Nature made a mistake?
WOW. I can't have heard this for something like 25 years. Tangram was the first album i brought when i was about 13 years old. This track blew my tiny little mind then and to be honest it still sounds f****ng great 30 years on. I was working today when for some unknown reason TD came into my head and when i came through the door this evening within 2 mins this track was steaming through my Sonus Faber speakers. WHAT A SOUND! Cheers for the upload!
I have been listening to TD since the very late 70s and still listen to them to this day. Utterly brilliant. God bless the Sequencer / Synthesizer and all who listen to them. !!!
