This really just shows how p[eople dont understand the business. So what Jay only paid Young gunz $1200 a show. They werent selling no tickets. no one was coming to see them. He didnt have to pay them a damn thing. and lets do the math. $1200 multiplied by maybe 4 shows a week for a 4 week run (16 shows) equals $19,200 divided by 2. So basically those guys made almost $10,000 in one month. They paid no travel or hotel expenses either im sure. Y'all got it twisted

Its not about what you get. its about what you're worth. If you aint the one selling tix,cant command a high guarantee. If you're an artist who should be so lucky as to make $5-8K per show, thats great. I just hope youre selling enough tix so the promoter can pay you.Concert business is diff from the record biz. Record sales do not always translate into ticket sales.
