As a person who has had friends who have gone through this kind of rejection by their families, I do agree that there should be a service to help families try to understand their children. As well as places of refuge to help these youth in cases of extreme abuse and what not,

as the mother to a wonderful gay daughter, this breaks my heart. Each and everyone of these children are special and ought to be loved to pieces and bits and to the ends of infinity.
