I also have a basset girl Valentina, but she sleeps more than yours, believe me and she's not even 3 years old yet. She was already very lazy when she was a baby. She is just an ornament in the house, like I always say. But, my son and I are CRAZY about her and love to teach her extra skin and massage her... Even us get sleepy and calm doing that... Your basset is sweet! Enjoy him!

my beagle can have his lazy moments. and plenty of stubborn ones 2.he sleeps alot so i try to exercise him when i can .hounds love their food. esp when the other mutley isnt looking.gave yr vid 5*'s.thanks for uploading.hound fan

Bassets are just the BEST DOGS IN THE WORLD!!! I have two sisters and have had Bassets all of my life and couldn't be without them - a house is just not right without a couple of Bassets!!!
