We all know that Mac is better, but it is really expensive and not all of us can afford one. To the people complaining saying they could get a better PC for half the price, it's just not the same. I so plan on saving up for the second largest iMac. Honestly I have been using PC's for almost my whole life. In high school, my school got the chance to try out the OSX system before it came out. It was WAY easier then a PC, I assure you. With a PC you have to constantly spend money for anti-virus software and other things that I need. With the Mac products I haven't encountered one problematic issue. My PC always glitches. I say spend a thousand so dollars 4 a computer u'll use forever.

@widdawiddawaldo i use a macbook pro 2010 model with a 2.4 dual i5 core with 4gb of ram. and most of the editing programs i use Final cut pro, adobe after effects etc work fine. However the latest iMac with ether the Quad core i5 processor or the Quad core i7 which cost about £200 here in the UK will do. So really you cant go wrong with ether. :)

Why do people buy Apple computers? Hardly any games and no CAD software available for it. Apple honour only a 1yr warranty on the imac despite the PC- computer-components used within it having a 3 yr warranty. An imac costs over twice as much as a comparable PC. The enviromental stuff about Apple is a joke, you can't change your computer without throwing away a perfectly good monitor! Please can someone tell me why they bought an Apple computer?

It all boils down to marketing.

Its not only about the looks but if you have a look at Apple ads they are nice and simple with awesome music and portray their products to be "magical" which is far from true.

Apple computers are literally over priced PCs. They are composed of the same hardware (Power-PC Processors, ATi/Nvidia graphics etc...) just very over priced and in a nice package. People with little computer knowledge however don't realize this and find it offensive...

I love it. It has a bunch of great templates and stuff. I prefer Pages over Office to be honest.

I've been using pc's all my life before I got iMac to my office. How can anybody say there is no difference between Windows and OS X? Apple products are just way more stable than PC's and what I have heard they also won't slow down in a year or two. I like linux too but lack of professional software is why I can't use on daily basis. iMacs are totally worth to pay few hundred dollars more.
