I personally as a British person don't agree with Independance day as to me it seem like our"closest allies" are celebrating the day they got rid of us British. I thinks the American Youtube was a good idea as it gave a chance for a wide varity of countrys to be able to share each others anthems and culture.

I understand where you are coming from but its not as if the Americans are doing it in our faces. They celebrate their Independence Day rather discreetly really (in terms of international coverage). I'd like to think there was a mutual respect between our two great nations who have been allies for nearly 100 years now.

Ok a nice voice but i rated for 3 because i would like to hear a less fascist song. I mean why are all americans so crzy with this song? I mean how would it seem to you if a german would sing his national anthem showing the german flag. Or if an iraqui would do the same showing Sadam Hussein? You would call it fascism in these cases. but when is for your anthem its cool i guess.... Think of it!

IT WOULD BE FUCKING NORMAL. It's NATIONALISM. Don't assume what people would call something, you idiot! You know what singing an anthem is? It's showing pride in your country. It's totally fine to sing the American anthem, just like it's totally fine to sing the Russian anthem, the Chinese anthem, the German anthem, the Iraqi anthem, or any country's fucking anthem! That was very nice. I like the song sung as written. It sounds ridiculous when people try to make it a rock ballad, a gospel number, or a negro spiritual.
