at some point, like after i got attacked by wolves, i would block and my guy would flinch.

has anyone experienced this or have an explanation?

I think Tom is either the spirit of Arda itself. Or he is one of the valas. But I think the spirit and foundation of middle earth is more like it. Definately my favorite character in lotr.

Tom Bombadil has a peculiar power though. Whatever he says is what happens. Just like the author of a book...like Tolkien.

Tom in BFME 2 is like complete Jesus, compared to this one.

That fits with the lore from the original books and short stories. He is the only being I know of that the ring had no power over, that beats all the wizards and the elf lords.
