I was wondering how you get the 'optional duplexing"? Is there some sort of add-on you have to buy or is it already built into the printer?

Is it a deskjetb 6940 or similar? I want to buy a 6940dt because my HP 930c is not ok (after 7 years!!). What´s your oppinion about your printer, even it isn´t the 6940?

It is indeed a 6940, which uses the same print engine as the OfficeJet 7210, 7310, and 7410's..
They used to have a bad carriage design, but HP has since repaired the flaw.

Thanks. I hope they repaired it here in Brazil...
this looks exactly the same as my hp deskjet 6540. are they the same thing? I might buy the duplex add-on i'm not sure yet though

They are fairly the same. Some minor differences. I never worked on a 65xx series though, only 69xx series.

My Canon Prixma iP4500 does the same thing BUT it is much slower when turning page. Yours is much faster.
