  • song ID ? its from the dark knight i no but which one

  • @VVed0 batman begins the song is called vespertilio.

  • genius, I'm going to rent that book asap

  • Wow, how inspiring, legend hip hop artist 2pac brought me here as he was known to have read and studied this man. Im impressed and will delve further into this thinkers philosophies.

  • That image of Christ Crucified at 2:48 is awe inspiring.

    Where is it from?

    Great video.

  • Machiavelli was a genius. Cynical but a genius! Check out 'the mind of a leader animations - Machiavelli'.

  • thank u my fans .

  • I think using batman music was just about the coolest thing you could have done with this video, amazing how many people love "The Dark Knight" but so few understand the waves of philosophy being thrown at them throughout the film.

  • 1:38 With that background picture, It became so convincing.

  • @timeforastronomy Obviously, if we're not carfeul, Jews will eventually absorb us. And thats unacceptable, they have their own damn country, why do they have to occupy what belongs to us? Its not fucking fair!

  • @timeforastronomy Oh yeah? So the fact that 3/4 of Hollywood and 3/4 of Wall street is jewish doesn't mean anything to you? Its a damn epidemic, I'm not usually racist, but I can tell you now I'd be ready to fight for christianity, and if the survival of my religion means the extermination of another, so be it

  • @olvoro11 be consistent : christianity has been brought in by jews hasn't it, you cant have it all :without Nero looking for a scapegoat we would probably never ever have heard of them nor of christianity.

  • @wolfgang911 NO, wrong, christianity was not brought by jews. In fact, jews wanted to kill the man who brought christianity (jesus simply happened to be jewish, but that didn't affect the course of history)

  • @olvoro11 so who brought it to europe then, santa klaus? I have nothing against jews , I stand up against all arabian religions that have spoiled our heritage, and we are about to crushed by the final wave of the troyan horse of islam. christianity and islam have mostly ment millions of horrible deaths through persecutions and religious wars and annilihation of ancestral traditions by the sword.

  • @wolfgang911 Oh, I hate Islam (fundamentalist) just as much. But Al Qaeda was formed because of jewish aggression, 9/11 was because half of the world trade center was jewish. So everything I hate about the Musmlims is because of jews, I mean, I don't support the holocaust, but boy, can u blame Hitler for hating the jewish greed that took adavntage of Germany? I wish the crusades had been succesful!

  • @olvoro11 monotheistic religion are all dangerous. but at least the jews don't try to kill people who don't share their religion. your mix of history from 9/11 to crusades to hitler is a bizar shortcut, cool it down a bit.

  • @wolfgang911 Oh really, so Gaza doesn't mean anything to you? And you think jews are fond of christians, you think they are all about about respect and tolerance?

  • @olvoro11 you have no idea how brainwashed you are :)

to blame an entire group of people for the sins of a few. that is what i call a hidden retard. You are one yet you dont even know it. All that 9/11 stuff.... has nothing to do with religion or race. It is a staged terror attack so stupid people will think we have to go to war against poor Iraqis. Now they can sell those precious weapons and the banks can cash in on our suffering. This is not a religious crap but a real crime.

  • @RolleRRATM No, it was done by Al Qaeda because half of WTC was jewish, the jews own a huge part of americas wealth and Israels. Israel are just as much responsible as Al Qaeda. Had they left Gaza alone, none of this crap would have happened.

  • @olvoro11 hehehehe, talk about living in a dream world.

  • Could someone tell me the chapter reference from the Prince of the following quote: "I am not interested in preserving the status quo. I want to overthrow it."

  • Mankind's greatest Sith.

  • Machiavelli was the best philosopher of all history. He was the first one to realise that in order to achieve good, evil must be enforced. The current just can't seem to understand that. People like Hitler knew that nothing could be achieved if evil wasn't enforced. In some weird way, Hitler was an admirable man.

  • @olvoro11 How so?

  • @XXGDUBSXX First, not acuusing you of anything, but I'm not defending the holocaust. But Hitler actually understood that evil is necessary in order to achieve certain aims. For example, in my opinion(and probably Machiavelli's and Hitler's) killing. If war could be avoided by killing thousands of innocents, it should be done

  • @olvoro11 Hitlers 1,000 year reach lasted 12 years, how can that be considered effective rule? Germany was bombed into rubble and didnt fully recover until the 1990's. I dont believe evil is ever neccessary it is a short sited way to think and is very humorous if you think about it "somtimes you must be evil in order to do good" it seems very unlikely. Just descisions are the most moral and the most wise it just takes a good person to see the bigger picture.

  • @XXGDUBSXX OH really? I wonder what progress have the NGO'S done in africa? I wonder in what way did the League of Nations and the UN succeed in keeping peace using "moral and good ways ways". Proof: WW2 started, Afghanistan is still at war with the USA, there was the Gulf War, Vietnam War, Soviet invasion of afghanistan... tell me, what has cahnged in the world? What "good guy" has made the world a better place. NO ONE, because people like you are weak and do not dare to take the leap...

  • @olvoro11 to understand that the world is not a utopia, a man who tries to be good can only fail between so many that are bad. If you want to defeat terrorism, you must think like they do, practice methods used by terrorists, not care about the stupid moral which is what makes us weak!

  • @olvoro11 I would say it makes me stronger to be able to defeat a monster without becoming a monster. I would say it is the weaker men that are unjust, that conform to the shape of the villians around them because they are outnumbered. The Just man understands that numbers alone confer no advantage and that the unjust must group together to overcome their own weaknesses and cowardice. Tell me how have unjust men ever benefitted anything.

  • @XXGDUBSXX For instance, in wwII, the allies used pretty much alot of the same methods as the nazi, they bombed cities, killed soldiers, captured prisoners and forced them to work, you see. Now do you think the allies would have won WWII if they had started thinking about moral and ethics? You see, I know there is a clear difference between one side and the other, yet the means to achieve victory are the same. Morals makes us weak, we must know to act like the enemy in order to defeat him

  • @olvoro11 I would say the reason the allies won WWII was because of a superior chain of command America's vast industrial capbility, Englands will to withstand the germans in the Battle of Britain the Soviet unions large sacrifice of life on the eastern front , If germany would have treated many of the western soviet republics better they would of no doubt joined the nazis as they were being oppressed and killed by stalins regime. -

  • @olvoro11 It seems you are trying argue it is good to be bad and ]it is bad to be good, it seems odd and quite humorous to me how some minds comprehend things. I would say that the just man is always the strongest because he will stand against injustice even against overwhelming odds and the unjust will only attack those they believe will be easy to defeat, unarmed civilians an the like. They wont give and sacrifice the way just men will, and so they will only ever be remembered by scoundrels.

  • @XXGDUBSXX NO, what you call "unjust men" are actually people who make a difference. The enemy will never be defeated unless we start worrying about what must be done to achieve victory, innocent lives and political assassinations are allowed if a greater victory of some sort is achieved. Casing point: Watchmen, who was the hero in the end? Ozymandias, because he knew how to sacrifice millions of lives to svae billions of lives.

  • @olvoro11 Im not familiar with Watchmen. If what you say is true, give me some examples, some men whoin their injustice improved the world.

  • @XXGDUBSXX Hitler could have made a difference, Lorenzo de Medici, the CIA, as well as many other intelligence agencies, Bush, Tony Blair...

  • @olvoro11 Hitler, he made a differance he helped plunge the world into a war that has had the highest death toll ever seen that help speed up the progress to create the deadliest single weopon known to man and helped set the stage for the cold war that followed. The CIA supposively works for the united states goverment but has been shown to break many of its own laws and aren't required to pass the same checks and balances other branches of the government do.

  • @XXGDUBSXX Thats exactly my point, these people were what nietchse described as supermen. People who know to put morals behind themselves. The CIA may use dirty methods, but the USA would not be such a good country if it werent for them. As for Hitler, the holocaust was just a necessary method to achieve eqaulity for the German people. Hitler suffered alot in his country while millions of jews benefited from WWI, its easy to criticise, but put yourself in his shoes, for gods sake!

  • @olvoro11 I believe Hitler was a dilusional man, who 's mind had gone do to a combination of syphilus and regular use of Methamphetamines, his hatred and military incompitance caused the downfall of his "3rd Reich". I dont see how he succeeded in much of anything, he had a hard life and chose a path of hatred over wisdom. From what I have seen the CIA underminds National and International laws, the people of the U.S. do not benefit from there acts.

  • @XXGDUBSXX OH, yes they do, many of the CIA activities occue without our knowledge, criminals are caught without us even knowing. It was the CIA who spotted the missiles in the cuban missile crisis, they killed che guevara, they carry out activity in afghanistan, they contrubted to kill sadam hussein, they spy on al qaeda

  • @olvoro11 CIA is good for intelligence, but if the people dont hear about any of the intelligence, especially the information that doesn't need to be confidential how can it be shown that they are useful? They could be chasing ghosts for all the taxpayers hear, they could be blatently lying about there effectiveness.

  • @olvoro11 In 1976, President Ford issued Executive Order 11905 to clarify U.S. foreign intelligence activities, Ford outlawed political assassination: Section 5(g), entitled "Prohibition on Assassination," states: "No employee of the United States Government shall engage in, or conspire to engage in, political assassination." The CIA uses loopholes to bypass this law and in doing so undermine their own government, indirectly teaching U.S. citazens only to follow the laws they want.

  • @XXGDUBSXX You are just proving my point, laws are breakable in order to reach objectives. Exactly how the CIA operates, they saved america and the whole world of alot of shit.

  • @olvoro11

What objectives have the CIA reached by breaking thir nations laws?

What have they saved the U.S. and the world from?

If the Laws this orginization breaks are interfearing with there job why have them at all, is there not a reason men make laws so that short sighted men with little sense of scale or history cannot do something detrimental?

If a govenment orginazation doesnt follow the laws, why should they have the power to arrest people that do?

  • @XXGDUBSXX The objective that today the USA is safe, the objective that they killed sadam, che. Of course its easy to criticise them, but when you are in their postion, you find that you cant defeat an enemey if you start thinking about every little thing done wrong. It would reduce efficiency by alot.

  • @olvoro11 You offer many Ideas but I do not quite understand them because I don't hear how the statement is supported by evidence rather than accusations and assumptions. If something is good why is it good. If jews are in charge of all the money, what jews? If th CIA protects us, what does it protect us from? They kill or help kill (against their own nations laws) men, why should these men be killed?

  • @XXGDUBSXX Because they are enemies of the USA, the CIA may not be authorized to assassinate. Yet if we know about it, every citizen adn the government knows about it. Yet, why don't the americans launch an enourmous protest against the CIA, there are some protests, but nothing huge. Its because everyone knows that these assassinations contribute to keeping america safe from Al Qaeda, the taliban, from criminals, drug dealers, its all connected to the safety of the USA

  • @olvoro11 Because many americans believe what you believe, they believe the CIA does many good things for the U.S. but oddly they dont seem to have any examples of how that is done and if they do they fail to explain how the action "protects" us. How can people be so sure that an orgization protects you when they dont understand anything about it? Does that not sound foolish, how can you have a strong opinion on something without deeply thinking it out?

  • @olvoro11 I apoligize if I did not make myself clear, by "difference" I meant a positive change I did not mean to include negative impacts on the world under the term "difference". The only thing I've heard of Lorenzo de' Medici is that he was one of the Nobles of Florence for whom the book "The Prince" was written for by Niccolo Machiavelli and that he indirectly ruled Florence.

  • @XXGDUBSXX It all comes down to one sentence: the end justifies the means, many politicians oficially hate machiavelli, but their no less machiavellian. They are hypocrties, I at least admit I admire Machiavelli and his thoughts, and I'd be happy to use them if I were a president.

  • @olvoro11 From what i've heard Jewish soldiers served and died in the geman military just like any other soldier, why don't you give me an example of how "jews" benifitted from WW1? I have read "The Prince" and I see very little justification for what you say about Machiavelli I doubt he would of condoned many of the actions that you have stated but I am not him, so I cannot say if my beliefs are similiar to his. I do not believe the world is a Utopia but that doesnt mean we cant come close.

  • @XXGDUBSXX I dont know examples, the rich jews werent famous, but the proof is that hollywood is covered with jews that ran away fro mthe holocasut, there were millions of them, and very rich.

  • @olvoro11 In that action they set an example of how injustice, though perhaps thought of as neccessary or practical eventually leads to the degradation of your own laws in government. I f they break the nations laws to improve the nation, what are they improving? Have they not already shown that they believe the laws in place get in the way of progress? Essentially teaching the people to undermine the nations laws if it gets them what they think is right instead of what is truly just?

  • @olvoro11 On jews, I believe that because of there faith they had been persecuted in many places in europe, as a people wthout a nation it is more practical to learn a skill that isn fixed such as farming. It makes more sense to learn a trade rather than an ocupation that neccessitates the stability of your place in a certain land. Banking, accounting and writing for instance are skills you can take with you perhaps this is one reason why many banks and newpapers have jewish owners and founders.

  • @XXGDUBSXX Jews have proven to be the cause of trouble at all times! They were the cause of Al Qaeda, they took land from from Palestine, they caused trouble to the romans. They are always in charge of all the money: Madoff, what do u have to say about that? The jews have got their hands very dirty and corrupt.

  • @olvoro11 "Jews have proven to be the cause of trouble at all times!"

My friend if bigotry is how you think I will no longer take you seriously, no logical man rests on steryotypes and generalizations. Are you not aware that there are anti-Zionist jews? Bigotry is easy and that is why many ignorant men follow it, simple answers for complex questions.

  • @XXGDUBSXX I did not mean every single jew is bad, in fact, i've got many jewish friends. Yet I cannot ignore that they have been generally in charge of money for centuries, and many did in fact take advantage of german suffering after the paris peace conference

  • @olvoro11 If These things take precedant over the human soul what is there purpose. What is the point of protecting civilians if you allow them to suffer elsewhere what is the purpose of killing your enemies if your own regime is corrupted. Klling Che was a good thing? How so? Didnt people known as "jews" suffer in the depression as well? What evidence do yo have that "jews are in charge of the money? What money? The banks, the nations, the corporations all of it.

  • @XXGDUBSXX Jews have always been surounded by money, dont act stupid ,we all know that

  • @olvoro11 What jews? I honestly dont understand you have stated that jews control all the money but have not given an example. Also their are impoverished jewish people my friend do you truly believe all jewish people are rich.

  • @XXGDUBSXX Dont treat the world like a utopia. Its far from it.

  • @XXGDUBSXX By the way, I dont mean that there arent any "just men" who made the world a better place.

  • Very nice compilation!

    Added to my faves..

  • awesome!!!

  • The great thing about machiavellis thought is that, this is his objective albeit political observation of something beyond an era. It transcends time, as if he has peeked into the platonic true form of the human soul and nature. His philosophy, like that of Sun Tzu, can be found anywhere and anytime. For that reason is its versatility.

  • Too bad this is not translated into French, my friends would have loved your video ! You're very strong, beautiful work !

    Thank you for sharing.

  • We wouldnt face extinction as a race if we wouldnt stick to christianity with its twisted moral values

Christianity is a detrimantal if not devastating believe system and an open invitation for other groups

to exploit and ruin our society.

  • There are no princes on youtube.

  • Machiavelli has said da truth of what many just refuse to listen or acknowledge for his words have true meaning behind them. Some human are kind and caring but the fact people by nature are evil and deceiving and corrupt.Machiavelli has said da truth and I 4 one praise him for that.

  • My favorite philosopher by far... I had a great time reading and discussing The Prince in my Political Philosophy course. Great vid!

  • Any Statesman must be a Machiavellist but ordinary people in everyday life should not be Machiavellist.

    Necessary true understand to Machiavelli.

  • For a man to appreciate Machievelli's wisdom, he must be brutally devoted to intellectual integrity.

Most turn away in disgust at the reality that Machievelli describes... but not may have the courage to acknowledge that Machievelli, unlike many philosophers and historians, is doing just that - describing reality.

  • yu bemd be reeal smarhts. I hopes youse donst mind intelligents inn relahsion to America of the US of A. US aint so smart no more, China is looking a lot better. The false strong can only rule over a week company before it all folds.

  • @gregvs3 totally agree with you ! i happen to be italian so i rad the integral version of the prince!

  • @gregvs3 Good point Brother, I never thought someone would share my same thoughts but this makes me happy seeing there are still some Shephards left, mostly sheep nowadays.

  • @ 2:35 That is a must! Interesting video, like always.

  • Machiavelli is good--although he was a student of Hobbes and Rousseu kinda disproved Hobbes larger theories. BUT when it comes to 'realpolitik' Machiavelli is the man

  • Machiavelli was one of the worlds first realists. his infamy mostly comes from the fact that most people read the prince and not discourses on livy. i would describe myself as more of a neo-realist, or structural realist. machiavelli was a genius, but i think modern times and modern warfare (nukes etc..) have made some of his ideas, like a state should always look look to expand through war, look a little archaic

  • "The Prince" from Machiavelli

is an awsome book my advice if u dont know it yet..read it

  • Top stuff as always. Thanks!

  • Great vid!

Ha ha! I am saying we ARE living by the Laws of Nature but are trying to CONQUER NATURE and it cannot be done so all we are creating is chaos.

    rest of comment;

When we learn to work within the Natural Cycles we will recover the lost AGE of Abundance and Peace.

  • Best video I have seen from you in a long time. Machiavelli and your laws of power videos are the most intriguing and moving in my opinion. All based on the first modern man, Niccolo Machiavelli.

Machiavelli was a true Republican in regards to the real meaning of the word. He believed that the best form of government was one in which every man was subject to the same laws as he said in his Discourses on Levy. He did, however, understand what a strong ruler must do to obtain and retain power

  • after six attempts and editing of my comment tube is not allowing me to post.

    This is a regular happening.

  • I don't understand why Machiavelli gets so much bad press. His philosophy was building better social structures through unity.

He also knew some good jokes!

  • Let us honor these words through our everyday actions.

  • "Before all else, be armed."

    Words to live by.

  • High praise for your videos.

  • Another masterfully produced video by NXSchell. Five stars.

  • Machiavelli understood the Laws of Nature and how to apply them to human behavior.

  • Isnt machiavelli a totalitarian?

His view of human nature is biased and pessimistic, but i would still prefer his philosophy compared to other "lovey-dovey" philosophies.

He understood how to apply to humans? Im not sure.

  • idontgiveashit0930

     Isnt machiavelli a totalitarian?

    Nature is totalitarian.

This is the prime cause of all current

    planetary crises.

When humans learn to live by the LAWS of NATURE and not the biased

confused laws of puny men without real courage, this Earth wil return to peace and abundance.

  • Are you suggesting that nature is deterministic? Stop being so poetic and ambiguous.

What makes you think that we are not "living by" the LAWS of NATURE? Are you saying that somehow what we do are not within the laws of nature?

  • *****

  • Very good !

  • Nice Batman music ^_^

I'm personally not into philosophy but this Machiavelli seems quite enlightened regarding human hypocrisy and exploitation.

My favourite quotes from this video are,

"It is in the interest of the weak to design societies that cripple the strong."

"It is not titles that honor men, but men that honor titles."

"Most men are satisfied with appearances, as though they were realities."

  • FUgYEAH!

  • Machiavelli was a great philosoffer, but he stole some phrases from other people
