..it's a simple thing mate; if u can afford it then go with the latest the bold 9700 u won't go wrong..at the end of the day they both such good phones the major difference is that 8900 doesn't support 3G and it doesn't have the new trackpad that's about it..but i'll suggest the 9700; just go with that beast lol
