I will ask Greg if I can forward you his contact information. He is a great resource for information. Another good resource for the Chris Crafts is through the local Chris Craft association which is quite active and has a nice rendezvous each year at Port Orchard. If you could share the old name(s) of your vessel it can be very helpful. Dave
Dellis803 I'm still enjoying this video and your many others. I'd to get in touch with the owner of WINIFRED as I understand he is affiliated with Lake Union Wooden Boat Club. I'm trying to put together the history of my boat which spent many years on Lake Union and I thought he might be able to help me. Would you be so kind as to assist in connecting us? Thanks, Bill
Thank you Dellis803. I've been viewing these videos of great 'Woodies' to sustain me through the long non-boating season here in MI. I purchased last year a 36' 1960 Chris Craft Constellation. It came from Lake Union where it had been since initial delivery until I brought it here. I'm restoring it and am about 40% done. I can't wait for the weather to clear so I can get back to it!

The 2010 International Cruise was in Seattle, Wa. as part of the International Board Meeting of The Classic Yacht Association. The 2011 meeting was in Victoria, Canada and the 2012 meeting will be in Mystic Seaport, Conn. Since the meeting takes place in January, there most likely will be no salute cruise. The PNW has a February, Opening of the Gates, cruise in February, and their opening day of yachting season is May 7. Hope to video it.
Wow, this video is quite the find for me! that very first boat was my first home from the day I was born on Feb. 28th 1983. My dad, John Long, owned her for for 7 years, as she was formally named Cheri. Many many memories aboard her.
@rubiconxj What great memories you must have and I'll bet you have some great stories to tell. You might consider posting some pictures or home movies from those days. I hope you have many more such memories.

Was there another Salute and review in 2011? I'd love to see more and hear more from the Monkfish Howlers.

What beauties! Those babies will turn more heads than the newest megayacht. I wish I could have been there.
