Valerie!! although you seem not liking AP, we still love you. Too bad, the person you interviewed (Neal) liked AP as the their lead singer. I might have misinterpreted how you sounded like. I like to hear AP singing Nat King Cole. Anyone know?

How can you say that,I'm a HUGE AP fan, the reason I DID this interview was because I believed in his story and went after it BEFORE all the hype, seems like your making assumptions about something you have no clue about...

So, Arnel Pineda was not chosen because he was a SP Clone, other tribute singers were. AP was chosen because of his range-- he can do Perry but also Tyler, Survivor, Sting, etc. etc the whole alphabet .

Neal got a package deal--AP had more to offer and had the ability to reinvent Journey.

I watched Pineda sing in Vegas and I can attest to all your psitive comments here. He truly has the pipes that fit Journey perfectly!!!

Yes, we Filipinos have been rockin way back then! Of course, we also have our very own Rock and Roll in our own native language way back then also. You want proof, look for JDLC or Juan De La Cruz Band on youtube, they are considered as the fathers and pioneers of Pinoy Rock and they are as old as the Rolling Stones!

To some SP diehards, If your Dad happens to be in the U.S. Military, (Army, Navy, U.S. Air Force, Marines) and they happened to be stationed in Olongapo City, Philippines back in the 60's and 70's, you can confirm to them that back in those days, if they want to listen to Jimmy Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Allman Bros., Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Cream, and the likes, All they have to do is jump from one Club after another Club depending on what their taste of music and get their fill of rock and roll!

I agree with Neal of what kind of a vocalist they are looking for.They must slowly ease the Perry sound but not lose the Journey sound totally.Heck! Arnel can do anything, they can expand their music to anything! Arnel can take them to a musical journey from A-Z! Neal and the rest of the band need to get in shape so they can rock with Arnel. Can't wait to see them really rock.

The searched was thorough - he covered not 1 but almost from 'A to Z', the new kid is confirmed to be the best from other than the 1's vying for the frontman slot - no doubt about it - nobody could beat him - call him whatever you want. The more you despise everything about him,the more hate him, the more you will eventually love Journey w/ Arnel - Cmon lets face it, the previous frontmen days were over, they had their time but the journey must continue.
