  • Right--CASA volunteers are warm, caring individuals. That doesn't mean they're trained to protect children in a legal setting, and they certainly do not have the same authority and protections that a lawyer has. Like the man says ... if you had to have a tooth extracted, would you want a dentist--who will want to get paid, and will want to go home after--or a volunteer, who is there because they *really* care?

  • like some lawyer is going to get involved in a child's life like a CASA will. wrong. I've worked with lawyers.. they're busy and they want to get paid and go home (usually). CASA volunteers are there for FREE and only cuz they care.. nothing in it for them except the satisfaction of helping the child.

  • See, i wasn''t born an AH i was made into one.He's right.....muah.jk.

I agree 98% he's right, but brain injury or malformation to the frontal lobe or cortex can result in sociopathic behaviour.

  • For the most part, he's right. But sometimes there'll be somebody born all screwed up: Jeffrey Dahmer comes to mind. But yes, Andrew is probably 95% right.
