Apparently you have never had a problem with birds.

Let me tell you, I have shot many birds and this is why: They create nests and messes in barns, the tractor gets covered in bird shit, shit everywhere, shoo them away and they come back as soon as you leave. Their shit is acidic and takes paint off of tractors.

There are good birds that keep mosquitos down and then there are just bad birds that spread disease and raid good birds nests.

The price of a BB will always be cheaper.

A good shot with a variable power BB gun will kill the bird and not put a hole in the roof.

I would only use shotgun on a flock of cowbirds. Oh btw the state pays people to go up in helicopters and kill thousands of cowbirds with shotguns. Bet the bird loving city people get a kick out of that!

ok in sweden we get pay to kill birds on the streats in big towns whit air rifle but i dont do it live on farm long a way from a city so i dont are so ofen in big sitys but isint a bb gun a softair gun and how to kill a bird whit that i men it doesetn even hurts

Airsoft or bb gun are both plenty powerful enough to kill a bird.

Seriously, it doesnt take much to kill one unless its a really large bird.

BB Gun and a Airsoft gun are 2 Different Things. Airsoft guns rarely go over 600 FPS and use Plastic BB's. Air rifles use a pump system or CO2 and Smaller metal BBs
