communes always attract simpletons and funks and feebs meaningless nonentities who are real miserable nothings and can be of no good to anyone. life quickly beats them up and they run with tail between their legs to form all white all young all upper class communes. no black peolpe, middle aged folk, Christian people, and even buddhists not wanted
@atfatw Thats a real easy thing to say from an outsiders point of view. I always loved hunting, fishing, camping, etc., and decided it was a good idea just to stay there in the woods. I have clothes of tanned hides, grow my own veggies, and my degree of fine arts for graphic design and an elite gaming computer I built myself. I'm a practicing shaman, refer to myself as a gook-back, and just think that unsavory douche-nozzles such as yourself with no experience should try it before you knock it.
This is very interesting - in normal societies, everybody would CHOOSE to live together, rather than being FORCED together, as 99.9% of us are currently forced to do in modern societies, because we are nothing more than indentured servants. Imagine living with people who you actually CHOSE to live with, and they you. Imagine living free from criminals, free from noise, free from doors being slammed, car doors being slammed, traffic noise, pollution, etc. Is that too much for us to ask?
This guy licks the spoon and sticks it in the fermenting bucket. Disgusting. I mean, it's his food, but it turned my stomach to see that. I love the video though!!!
I love the concept. I wonder what people do for a living to earn an income here? Do they sell their harvest? Make money from guided tours? Promotional Videos/Books? What about Insurance? Are the Children here Home Schooled? What about Food during the Winter Months? Are there Moral Absolutes? Who decides?
If only all the earth was a sustainable eco-village..
I LOVE picking apples and pears from trees and knowing exactly where they come from. :-)
As a raw foodist, I am learning more about fermenting (making my own sauerkraut and kombucha!). For some reason, I'm afraid of wild mushrooms. Can you eat them raw?
I'm in Kansas (I think about an hour or so away). I would love to visit Dancing Rabbit for some time to learn some more. I'm really considering it.
I'm fermenting onions and tomatoes RIGHT NOW. I've been making various kinds of sauerkraut for a while now, and this video gave me the inspiration to branch out. Yeah! Thanks Thomas and Dancing Rabbit folks!
he probably has moved on back to his rich massachusetts liberal parent's mansion in stockbridge and is now ooing to college, again
