@amandariotTWLOHA i haven't played this song in a car yet. but i just heard it really f*cking loud with some headphones on ... and it sounds really really good when its loud! :D
@yin100frost it means that a gy was in love with someone and he got her pregnant so she for no more problems left and he never knew she was pregnant until the end,, she never told him because she think he would not wanted. But when the baby borns she dies and left the kid with him and he terribly kill the bbaby cook it and eat it..
How about im gonna go with Cove is not religious. At Warped Tour this year while playing Is This Real he pointed to the sky and gave it the bird. then said " Theres nothing up there." kinda bummed me out. but still amazing band. For a long time i thought they were a religious band but apparently not based on Coves actions.
There aren't really many religious aspects to saosin as a band. It's a good thing, when you mix religion with music there tends to be alot of controversy.
No i didnt mean based on their actions. i mean if you listen to the lyrics of say, Your Not Alone. This song can be misunderstood to be a song about people whos lifes are in a wreck and they end up finding God in the end. Im not trying to change your opinion on anything or judge you in any way. Thats not my job, im just pointing out what i notice about this band. Its the beauty of music. You can look at it in so many different ways.
@everlongman this is also what i seemed to find from their lyrics. the general majority seem quite literarily based off things that the bible teaches. its an interesting point that i have read the song writer is religious but hasn't publically clamed to which religion. i think christianity in general is more relationship based than religious but yeh.
@teardropluvsparamore Dont disrespect him because he has different religious or life views. Human beings are given the ability to think separately and apart from other individuals. If he wants to think the way he does then that's OK. One of the awesome things about being a human is that you can make decisions for your own self and disregard things you don't want to hear. He is just being a human and making his own decisions.
the new album has changed a lot, its more lay back but nevertheless, i think saosin have found their sound, and they still make some post hardcore as well :)
Cove is Christian.. the other members of the band aren't religious or claim to be Christian. Cove writes a lot of Christian meanings into his lyrics, even in their last album he almost always has an underlying Christian message in his lyrics.
yeah, he is LDS (mormon), but despite what a lot of people think the mormon religion is a Christian religion. The mormon religion believes that Christ is the savior of all mankind and that he died for all of our sins, just like any other or mainstream Christian religion. They just get put out as being 'not Christian' because they believe that God is three individuals (the father, son, and holy spirit) as one 'godhead', not one God that can be three different personages.
Is, and always will be, my favorite song<3

Maybe his Cove's public rejections of God is why he's being kicked out of the band.
