There were an atrocious amount of penalties called against the Cardinals that didn't happen, a ton not called against the Steelers, and even reviews of plays that were botched. Harrison's return was sick. I've been watching superbowls since 1969 and the way he ran it back is what made it so special. he had people draped all over him but he kept stepping over them like it was a video game. great job by his team mates to get him some blocking. he would not be denied. that rates as one of the best plays ever not just the SB.
Man feel bad for the Cardnals they where so close if only they attept a field goal or ran the ball when Warner got Int. But what happend happend can't change the past. Personally I don't think Holms should of SB MVP; Ben Rolthlesburger did a lot more in the game then Holms did. But in the end I'm just glade that NE didn't win nore the Ravens, great Super Bowl none the less. Next season though it'll be the Indianapolis Colts SB 44.
I'll admit, the Santonio Holmes Touchdown cannot be topped, but I think the James Harrison 100-yard interception return was one for the highlight reel, as well. He beat out Packers' "Dangerous" Desmond Howard's kickoff return in Super Bowl 31 against the Patriots by one yard. What a nail biter it was.
Actually, no. His foot was on the goal line, coast-to-coast, and as he was being tackled, his body lolled over Larry Fitzgerald's legs, and into the end zone. I watched that play enough times to conclude the ruling.
They really did though. Bad calls from the refs all game long. Kurt didn't fumble that ball, plus I heard that their was a personal foul on the play. It wasn't just that play though, several calls were awful.

How can you forget running into the holder? That call was bogus as all others that were called against AZ. And, what about a personal foul on Santonio Holmes for using the ball as a prop? Nothing was called there.
The running into the holder call was legit. He plowed into the holder long after the kick was on its way. That was a solid call but yes Holmes should have been called for the celebration.

That was an awesome SB. For the first time in my life, I have two straight awesome SBs because usually you have one SB that is a total mismatch and then you have a SB that lives up to its hype.
Yes, coming from an angry Seahawks fan, the Steelers did deserve to win "this" Super Bowl. The SB would have perfect had the booth actually check the Kurt Warner call at the end.
Other than that, awesome SB!

Harrison's return was sick. I've been watching superbowls since 1969 and the way he ran it back is what made it so special. he had people draped all over him but he kept stepping over them like it was a video game. great job by his team mates to get him some blocking. he would not be denied. that rates as one of the best plays ever not just the SB.

Man feel bad for the Cardnals they where so close if only they attept a field goal or ran the ball when Warner got Int. But what happend happend can't change the past. Personally I don't think Holms should of SB MVP; Ben Rolthlesburger did a lot more in the game then Holms did. But in the end I'm just glade that NE didn't win nore the Ravens, great Super Bowl none the less. Next season though it'll be the Indianapolis Colts SB 44.

I'll admit, the Santonio Holmes Touchdown cannot be topped, but I think the James Harrison 100-yard interception return was one for the highlight reel, as well. He beat out Packers' "Dangerous" Desmond Howard's kickoff return in Super Bowl 31 against the Patriots by one yard. What a nail biter it was.

Actually, no. His foot was on the goal line, coast-to-coast, and as he was being tackled, his body lolled over Larry Fitzgerald's legs, and into the end zone. I watched that play enough times to conclude the ruling.

They really did though. Bad calls from the refs all game long. Kurt didn't fumble that ball, plus I heard that their was a personal foul on the play. It wasn't just that play though, several calls were awful.

I don't think it was nearly as bad as many are saying. There were two bad ones I saw:
1, Not reviewing Warner's "Fumble"
2, The roughing the passer call (Although that's something the whole NFL has had a problem with, you basically can't touch any QB anymore)

How can you forget running into the holder? That call was bogus as all others that were called against AZ. And, what about a personal foul on Santonio Holmes for using the ball as a prop? Nothing was called there.

I have respect for Pittsburgh( for being a blue-collar team, using the draft to establish stars etc even tho they have a couple of dirty players) but the win is tainted. The refs helped them win, plain and simple.

You are a complete idiot considering Pittsburgh has a solid tradition of playing the 3-4 defense. This means that they have 4 linebackers on the field. Usually Harrison, Foote, Farrior, and Woodley. Lawrence "LT" Timmons will occasionally play a 5th linebacker rover spot on 3rd down in the dime and the dollar. This makes it physically impossible for Woodley to replace Harrison with the fact that they both start. That's like saying Obama will succeed himself. You are a complete imbusul.

Timmons is an inside linebacker and he will not replace Harrison seeing as it is much more sensable for him to replace the long time pro, James Farrior, who will retire within 3 years.

Then let them take a lead with 2:37 left on the long pass to Fitz, when they could've easily called holding or something on that play and brought it back? Your conspiracy theory is a joke.

They wanted the Colts to in that game back then, but the Steelers managed the win. Of course, they were favoring the Steelers against the Seahawks, just they favored them against the Cardinals.
Like last year, the NFL wanted the Patriots against the Cowboys for the SB, but it didn't happen that way. The NFL, in fact does pull some strings for your info.
