Freddy had a unique voice and style which got him a very wide audience. I met Freddy many times when I lived in Corpus Christi (his hometown) and he was a very "down to earth guy" and not pretensious like other musicians. I am sorry that Freddy had to go to met his Lord early, but I will always remember him and his music.
