Question: I have a Hoover model 750. Mine has a head light, would this be something of an aftermarket accessory, or something that was offered at a higher price?
@ExcelsiorElectric In America, the 'Hedlite' was standard equipment on Models 750 and 900, and a $5 option on Model 425. However, it wasn't included on the European version, and wasn't seen in the UK until Models 800 and 925 introduced the integrated 'Dirt Finder' headlight.
I have just found a 750 that I am going to restore. I like your video way good. I found a few cool things on E-bay . Hoover Vault vacuums that have never been used before. They have the birth tage on them. The first one off the line serial # 0000001. I bought a hoover convertible and celebrity. looking at more to add to my collection!
Congratulations, the 750 is a great machine which will still outclean 99% of the cleaners on the market today! Let me know how the restoration turns out!
Hi, I just watched your video. Very cool. I recently restored a 750 for some friends, it does have a hedlite. It's in use twice a day vacuuming their resturant. I can send a pic if your interested.

sweet vacuum I have a 90 year old one that I fixed but it needs a bag and switch cover and I was 12 last year and thats when I fixed it.
