How did you connect this table with electricity? there must be some wire from this table to the nearest electric socket i think ? and where did you put this led sensor ?
The "IR Controller" wich you can see at 1;27 is hidden behind a table food. It's linked to a Transformator 12V6A near my wall. The cable goes behind the table food and a bit on the ground to the wall.
The IR Controller LED sensor exceeds a little bit the table (first picture, left side).
I mean having the remote inside the table my concept is basically an indicator to show that someone dining needs service. How much did the lighting and the frosted glass cost?
@william0076 Hi, DT A2? What is it? Is it for school? By the way, it takes a couple of hours, around 10 I think : .Making the plan with all measures .Choosing and cutting the wood .Making the table .Filling holes and separations with wood filler and then sand .Painting .and placing the Leds Good continuation and thanks for your interest...
@JohnnyDP27 Yeah Product design for A2 (its a type of course)
Instead of using it for decoration use i wanted something which could turn the light on and off light a service light. I'm using it for dining you see
I'm using it for dinner, as you can see at 1:28 it works with a remote control, so there is no problem to switch on/off. Most of the time, I don't light it but when you have some friends home or a special dinner, it's really amazing !
Hi, do you use frosted glass or Acrylic? I would love to build something like this. Also are the LED's under the glass/perspex or actually on the edge of the glass/perspex? Thanks for a great video.....
HOLY CRAP THIS IS AWESOME! I'm totally making this! Thank God my dad is carpenter so he can make the wood look badass with intricate designs and stuff! AWESOME!
nice video I'm thinking about making bar table for a fight party coming soon. I need something. like this. is it water proof?

I bought the Leds +- 50$ (cheapest you can find for 5Meters Led strip) on Ebay China, a very serious seller called "Jingsam Online".
For the frosted glass, I took it from another table for free.... it's a quite expensive glass, about 250 $ I think...
I hope I can help...
Good Luck !

I was thinking of something like this as my DT A2 project did it require a lot of time to do this or not?

Hi thanks for the comment,
I use a kind of a frosted glass (I don't know exactly, because I took the glass from another table and built mine according the glass).
As you can see at 1:32 I have placed the Led strip in the bottom of the 'trunk'..........I hope it would help you...
Good Luck......

voici l'intitulé des LEDs que j'ai achetées à mon vendeur mentionné plus haut;
Flex RGB LED Strip SMD5050 300LEDs 5M +44key IR Control
si tu en achètes, n'oublie pas d'acheter aussi un transfo adéquat (min. 12V 6A), il en en vend également...
