  • Good stuff. Sometimes a little hard to watch, but it's great tht someone's equipping people with the skills they need to defend themselves if necessary. Very dramatically soundttracked, too! May I ask what piece of music was used for this? Thank you so much!

  • @renaessance - Thank you for the kind words! Actually not for sure what the music is from, I know that it is from a Horror movie, and I think that it is a movie called "Dead Silence" but I am not for sure about that. Thanks for the kind words thought, I am glad that you liked the video!

  • is dvd ready?

  • @MrAtom2007 - I am working on the dvd now, should be ready in the next 2 weeks, Goshinjutsu vol #1 is already online at the -- Ninjutsu Super Store.com

  • Interesting info!

  • About 35 seconds into the video there were a few things that caught my eye... The first thing being the letters below the statistic are green. I like the color green. But the second thing was the statistic itself. It didnt make any sense at all What is 78 times 24? Oh yeah 1872. That means 1872 rape victims per day not 56,000. Anybody else see this BS?

  • @BudoScience - Thanks for pointing that out, very nice of you. Yes I made a type-o. According to the R.T.S (rape trauma service) it is 78 rape per hour which is 1,874 per day. You are correct I posted that it was 56,000 per day and that was a mistake. ---- it should read over 56,000 per "YEAR" ---- Sorry for making that mistake. I am seriously amazed at how many are so hateful, closed minded and simply just want to find faults in others, rather than being kind & helping others.

  • @BudoRyuNinjutsuDojo lol its not every YEAR either. its every MONTH.

  • @BudoScience - Not for sure where this is going ? According to the R.T.S (rape trauma service) there are 78 rapes per hour. So that x 24 hours = 1872 rapes per day. On the video it says at :34 sec over 56,000 per day. That is wrong, it should say over 56,000 per year. So what I said is correct, and what you said is correct also! However; what does this have to do with the meaning and essence of the video? I am trying to get people to understand they need to learn to defend themselves....

  • @BudoRyuNinjutsuDojo its 56,000 per month but your right its not a big deal. Everyone makes mistakes lol

  • @BudoScience - Yes that is true, we all make mistakes what is important is that we learn from them and then try to help others. This is what Budo teaches us. Helping others, not hate. Thanks for the post! :)

  • @BudoScience Wow...to be honest, the math doesn't bother me at all...typo's happen, etc... In my honest opinion the point of the video is not math. One rape per decade is one rape too many!!!

  • @Schattenninpo - I COULD NOT AGREE MORE!

  • @Schattenninpo I also agree with this. I was just pointing out the typo. Its good to point those out because typos could mislead people. Mislead people do stupid things. Sorry about the argument starter lol

  • 56,000 per day and only 78 per hour? lets see here.

    78 * 24 = 1874

    not 56,000 rofl

  • @TheHumbleNinja - Thanks for pointing that out, very nice of you. Yes I made a type-o. According to the R.T.S (rape trauma service) it is 78 rape per hour which is 1,874 per day. • I am just in LOVE with this video. It's not fancy, it's not a lot of fluff, but it is practical and straight forward! And I already could tell i wanted no part of tanglin' with you, Ms. Jacobson... but those other two in the vids, well, we'll leave them alone as well. lol

  • @MicahtheLion75 Thank you very much for the kind words, we really do try to place in an effective method of fighting for the students to be able to protect themselves or the ones that they love in the modern day. Yes we are a traditional school, but tradition says that you are training to fight, training to protect. Again thank you, I know that there are many ways to skin a cat, BUDO RYU is just our way of doing, good luck to you and your way! :)

  • AWESOME! ONE OF YOUR BEST VIDEOS EVER!

  • This is an excellent video. I wish more martial artist in the world, more specific ninjutsu teachers would see what you are doing and follow your lead. Anshu Christa Jacobson and Soke Jinichi Kawakami are the only real ninjutsu teachers left, every one else is just doing taijutsu and calling it ninjutsu. GREAT VIDEO, 5 STARS *****

  • Looks very efficient and effective, not to mention pretty brutal. I can't wait to see more.

  • your training and vidoes rock

  • Top notch video once again I like how you started it off with the crime statistics and then went into the self defense to protect yourself . Thumbs up.

  • love it!

    two thumbs up!

  • @DarthLawya - Thank you very much for the kind words!

  • how in the world do they come up with these numbers and time frames?

  • @KRiderMan1248 - I am sorry I guess I do not understand the question? What numbers in what time frame? This video was done from last weekends event - Goshinjutsu Workshop 2011. Sorry I cannot answer I just do not understand the question.

  • @BudoRyuNinjutsuDojo sorry i worded it wrong, but i guess this would be the wrong place to ask that. But i like your video it looks good and the techniques in it look like they are actually useful. I was wondering if you had some tournament footage? Iv been curious about seeing sparing matches between different styles of martial arts.

  • @KRiderMan1248 - thanks again for the post, sorry we are not a competition school. We do spar, grapple as well as spar with weapons and multiple attacker sparring as well. But that is part of training, we do not partake in competition as a school. However; I am sure that it would be fairly easy to simply place in "karate vs ????" and you should be able to come up with something here on youtube to view "school" vs. "school".
