@TheFuturemarine2010 Yes. Both cars share the same V6 & V8 engines & chassis. There the same cars w/ different names on them, both made by Chrysler. The 300c cost more than the Charger models b/c its suppose to be a luxury upgrade. Like what Lexus is to Toyota or Audi to a Volkswagon.

I would hate it if Mercedes made majority of the RT or SRT models. American sport sedans & sport cars should be made by Americans. We have to be able to show & represent our own products & designs. Other wise we wouldn't stand out.

I have had my eyes on purchasing a Charger, but then i noticed the CTS, (cts not cts-v) but i just forgot about it since i thought the Caddilac would be too expensive. so when i was looking at the listings to buy a charger, i said let me take a look at the CTS, and surprisingly, they're both around the same price. I am not much of a performance guy but apperance wise, which car do you think looks better?

@dodgevipercool Depends on what kind of statement you want your car to make. The CTS gives off a more "refined" and "tame" vibe; the kind of car that says you're a professional, but maintains modesty.

The Charger, especially the SRT8, is pretty much the complete opposite. It has a much more aggressive look, and there's nothing modest about it(exterior-wise). It's a car the mixes business with pleasure. The practicality of a sedan, with the looks, performance and fun-factor of a musclecar.

I wanted one of these so bad, and still do. But WTF. I almost dented the fender checking out the brakes. when you push on the fender the whole thing pushes in. Same with the Challenger. I swear the bump from a beach ball will dent it. And I thought Chrysler was only cheaping out on interior materials. But the car sure looks the brute though.

LOL, the Charger needs to be exactly where the Challenger is now with the 2-doors on a full sedan body, the Challenger needs its own smaller, lighter, sportier pony car body, and BOTH cars need updated drivetrains, Mopar's suppost to be the powerhouse of the bunch so i say the R/T should find a way to get 425hp out of the 5.7 and the SRT needs 500hp in its 6.1

At under 30k I got the 08 Charger srt8 with 2,500. miles and love it. I use it on long trips and it kicks ass. I get 21.6 MPG at 80 miles per hr.

I think the Challenger is perfect for a younger driver...Pure modern day muscle car, perfect for doing donuts and competing with mustangs and camaros. I prefer the srt8 Charger..A muscle sedan with 4 doors....425 HP, I could just imagine the HEMI rumble with my kid's car seat in the back..haha

yea i would i love the car i dont have this model show but a step down from it. But man she drives like a dream good acceleration handles likes a car half its size. The only down side is that it sucks in the winter so if you are some where that snows deffinately invest in a really good pair of winter tires

its not super terrible u just really have to take ur time in the winter the back end likes to slide out on turns as long as u take ur time and have winter tires on you should be fine. Just dont cheap out on the winter tires u need a real good set and wouldnt hurt to weigh down the back too throw a bag of cat litter trunk
