  • Google RIck Simpson He's been curing cancer for years with hemp oil! Watch his documentary Run From The Cure it's on the web. Cancer is an industry, don't be it's livestock!

  • I'm allergic to bactrium! Every time they ask me what I am allergic to I don't remember if it is bactrim or bactrium or if that medicine is even produced anymore! thanks for confirming.

  • Omg I am guilty of saying half the stuff said. lol. Love this video.

  • HA! omg I said these exact same things when i had cancer and I was 4,5 and 6 haha (((((: Love the video(: but hate cancer):

  • Been as close to remission as I'm going to get for 2 years, as this S#!% is aggressive.

    Tumour Humour is the best.

Mostly, I was so high I don't recall what made me laugh, but generally I laughed through treatment - in between throwing up! Haha

    Great video buddy. Stay strong.

Sending love from across the pond. xx

I think we're given IV Piriton here instead of Benadryl though, but same thing I think.

  • your really cute !!!!

  • Great job!!!! Keep the humor...

  • Woody, I hope you get better soon! :)

p.s your voice sound like Toby Turner

  • For some reason...I kept thinking of The Fault in Our Stars by John Green while watching this.

  • Haha! Oh I used to get soo annoyed when my machine went off. And I loved the benadryll lol and I love this video. So true. i was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma march 15,2011 and cancer free on January 4, 2012. Bright attitudes can get you through the darkest times. Hope youre doing good dude. God bless

  • hahaha this is a great video! Your attitude and sense of humor is the best! I had Hodgkins 8 yrs ago and can totally relate to the IV Benadryl (thought I was dying the first time I got it), Dilaudid (the best!), the horrible taste of the flushes and "haven't pooped in days". Good luck in your treatment, I wish you a full (and speedy) recovery!

  • I can't believe how many cancer survivors there are here. You're all so awesome and brave and I wish I had your strength.

  • also.. Kudos to the nurses for being good sports.

    Good nurses are awesome...

  • BTw, I look very forward to the follow up "shit cancer survivors say"

  • Right on target Bud

  • Big respect. Can only hope I'd be as strong and well humoured as you buddy. Great attitude, keep it up and best of luck at getting through it

  • I have a.l.l and I joke all the the time with the doc lol I love the face he got Wen he got the meds I do the same thing

  • This is SPOT ON!!! My son Thomas had leukemia 3 times, and had a cord blood trasnplant 2 years ago. He said just about all of these NUMEROUS times throughout the journey. He loves IV Benedryl and still tries to get it at clinic visits. He's now cancer free. Best of luck to you and all of you going through this!!!

  • Haha my sister has osteosarcoma and she just made my entire family pause our movie and watch this video.... I love this guy. He's hilarious, and I love his optimistic outlook on such a traumatizing disease. I am going to share this video on facebook... Haha we were laughing so hard during it :) this was just the kind of video we needed to watch :)

  • Its good to see he has a seance of humor about it , god bless him-3 and he's really cute!! I'd totally marry him

  • Omg I think I almost busted a lung laughing so hard. I'm a survivor of Hodgkin's myself, and I've said about 90% of the things in this video! LOVE IT!

  • This is hilarious! My son (an 8 year old Leukemia patient) and I just watched and laughed and nodded throughout. Yep, perfectly accurate. **beep** This was beautifully done and so true. Oooohhh, how we love those warm blankets! Thank you!

  • God bless this man

  • We love your video and fav'd it! You've got such a great sense of humor considering what you're going through and we wish you great health and happiness! We're sure many, many cancer patients will empathize with your video, too. Laughter is the best medicine and you're doing an awesome job . Best wishes for a fast recovery!

  • Thanks for this! Really great catharsis and good for folks to know.

  • Buahaha that was awesome. I used to eat grapes and milk because I finally found something that didn't taste like shit on the way back up.

  • According to a 2000 Life Extension report,

for the doses needed to produce the CT scans, one CT chest scan is equivalent to 400 chest x-rays. A scan of the abdomen is equal to 500 chest x-rays. A scan of the head is equivalent to 115 chest x-rays. Combine the x-rays of the chest, abdomen, and head in the scan and you have over 1,000 x-rays. Imagine having 1,000 x-rays at one time!

amounts are “effective doses.” the minimum, you are likely to have received a lot more radiation.

  • Dude you are awesome and hilarious!!!! I wish you the very best and a full recovery!!!!

  • YUPPP... they went there

  • Love this!! I'm so glad that you have a sense of humor. My 4 year old daughter who has leukemia watch this with me and laughed with me. :) Good luck!

  • Congrats! Laughter is what keeps you going, man! Keep positive!

  • wow, just wow.

  • Six months ago this was me. Gotta look at the positive things in life. Thanks for this!

  • I grok.

  • Is it a HIPAA violation to ask if it's a HIPAA violation? LOVE THIS.

as a future healthcare provider, this was hilarious, and I'm glad to see that the star of this is in such good humor. My favorite parts had to be when there would be laughter of CNAs/Nurses that gets cut off because, frankly, the subject (dude) is awesome!

    Here's to your recovery!

  • If you just had a 70 y.o. talking about how chemo has no side effects, this would be spot on.

  • Thank you, Woody. Wonderful stuff. I had a teen that felt all these things who had a great sense of humor like you. We lost him 2.5 years ago. Blessings to you.

  • This is fantastic. I'm pretty sure I've said all of this multiple times. I love how funny this is to others who have been through it but kind of terrifying to anyone else - gonna make my friends watch it again.

  • omg at "wait till they hear about this on caring bridge!" hahahah!!! <3

  • Hahaha! So true! I have probably said all of these things

  • omg that nasty tasting metal mouth thats the worst part about the drugs they give me ughhhh

  • haha definitely more morphine XD exactly what chemo was like for me 2 years ago. Thanks for the video

  • This is Soo awesome!! There wasn't anything I wouldn't do for those warm blankets. I laughed so much Watching this. Best of luck to you, you obviously have the right attitude going into this and you'll kick cancers ass.

  • Thank you for this! Exactly what chemo was like for me.

  • You gotta be a patient or survivor to really get this humor. The inexperienced are mortified by this comedy, because of the context. Also, learn the button to mute the beeping! Best thing I ever did! XD

God Bless you and Good Luck on your journey. :)

  • "at least now I can stop worrying about getting cancer." hilarious. I love this guy's attitude.

  • hahahahahahaha, oh man. NAILED IT!!! "Breakfast burrito was a mistake"... sadly those exact words came out of my mouth MULTIPLE times... as did the burrito.

  • Not morphine Bro, get su,mpin stronger, like Stadol (Butarphanol Tartrate) spray or IV. Good stuff for extreme pain.

  • Thank you for this!

  • I just finish chemo in december. I said alot of these things! :) I learned to pause my IV machine. THE DARN BEEPING!

  • I finally learned how to sleep through the beeping lol. I never had anything bad tasting, but when they would give me saline, I could smell it and it was not pleasant!

    <3 to you guys,

    Chemokid Scotty

  • haha yes!! so true...my pumped beeped so much, I just got immune to it & could sleep through it. & the day they took me off my pain pump :( & when i hear bone marrow biopsy, i smile...bc that means verced!

  • I cried from laughing. Then I cried because this is exactly what my life is like!

  • Love it, love it, love it!!! It was like looking in the mirror when you tasted the port being accessed?! HA HA HA :)

  • im dying (lol-cancer joke.) going through chemo for ALL and this made me laugh my ass off!!! laughter is best medicine<3 keep fighting all!

  • OMG my life the last four months fighting leukemia ROFL! Thanks for a great laugh :D

  • cute but am I going to hell for laughing?

  • OMG soo accurate!! IV Benadryl is the BEST! and a "whole lotta dilaudid "

Thanks for showing everyone the lighter side of cancer.

  • Awesome! I just took my Dilaudid and have been having hot and cold flashes all day. Thanks for keeping all of us cancer patients laughing!! :)

  • Very very true, the beeping(!!), the disgusting saline flush and heparin, feeling cold, and Benadryl is awesome. Great job!

  • This is so accurate! Awesome.

  • Lol this is very accurate

  • this is the best visual of being a cancer patien, ever. this totally recreates my actions on chemo :) lol

  • This is soooooo true.

  • This is amazing. "Dilaudid. I mean a lot of dilaudid. But, you know, as needed". Hahaha :) Oh dilaudid, how I miss thee. Coupled with IV benedryl, because it made me SO ITCHY. Good times, good times.

  • This is amazing. Captured so many of my emotions during treatment. Thanks for some great laughs out of a difficult situation it means so much!

  • I needed to laugh today. This is so true. Laughing helps heal. Thank you.

  • Haha SO TRUE! I remember constantly 'should I be BEEPING!?' and 'Excuse me! Should I be COLD!?' oh man, gave me a laugh. THanks for making this video! x

  • this. THIS. my life 3 years ago. Thanks for being so brave & hilarious.

  • @WoodyRoseland Great video bro! Thanks for the laughs while going through chemo and thanks for being such a great mentor. Hope to see ya soon.~Kevin

  • Is it a HIPAA violation to ask if it's a HIPAA violation?

  • Loved this Woody!!! As someone with cancer I found it hilarious! I definately could relate! Hang in there in your journey!!

  • "where do I get one of those yellow rubber bands?"

  • Liquor before beer. Methatrexate before lucavorn and saline before hepernin. Probably butchered the spelling of all of those

  • Comment removed

  • I liked and subscirbe. This way, cancer doesn't win :)

  • This is so funny and true. I have to say this is probably the best use of time while getting chemo I've ever heard of! Thanks Woody for Bringing the humor, that I have always found to be the best distraction from the reality of cancer, to the rest of the world! Good work.

  • "Seeing the funny side of things" taken to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL.

    Best of luck mate

  • Signing my life away.. hahahahhaha This is hilarious! I hope for the best mate!
