That's strange... I remembered this boss battle being a lot more difficult, had to use all level 3 and 4 rune attacks. also, doesn't the monster start out as a worm/caterpillar, then hatches to become a moth during the battle? or is this a different version of the game that I played...

@widjaja23 no, those are the same version =),I remembered the battle will be like this, if you have Tir Mcdohl in your party, the boss already a moth, and automatically use the bright shield and soul eater rune in the beginning of battle and the Boss will die instantly, that's why I gave the tittle "Combination of Bright Shield Rune & Soul Eater Rune - Hero & Tir Mcdohl" ^______^

@OddyMoo Yes, I think you're right, it's because I've always recruited mcdohl after the luca blight battle which is the earliest you can get him, and at that point I didn't have forgiver sign

First time going to Gregminister, you will fight a caterpillar boss on your way. Then when Luca Blight is raped, you can find Tir McDohl and then we find that kid and then another boss appear which is the caterpillar with wings.

I dont understand how Tir can be in this game as an extra...he was the hero in the first one...but they never mention him in the main story can someone explain this to me pleaseeee

@kortland12 Doesn't really need to be explained, they're neighbors pretty much. In Suikoden I they mention the city-states of Jowston (spelled Jowstone) and Dunan. I think in Suikoden II it's Sheena who suggests to get help from the Toran Republic (the new government Tir helped create in Suikoden I) so that connects them with each other. Lepant alludes to Tir, and if you have the Suikoden I data, you get to know who he's talking about.

This wasn't a combination rune attack. It was just both of them using their level 4 rune attacks. First time I played I thought it was a combo too. I have since seen both of the attacks by themselves and know it is not a rune combo.

oh and 1 question.. is it okay for me to start a game in suikoden 1 save it even if tir's lv 1 (in gregminster) without any star then start a new game again in suikoden 2 then load it from sk1.. is it possible for me to get tir?

I know this is definitely not hacked because I've gotten this scene a few times during the many times I've played Suikoden II. I'm still trying to figure out what triggers it though. I think it might have to do with if your party is struggling during the fight or something, but I'm not a 100% sure.

I've recruited Tir Mcdohl 2 in Suikoden 2 by uploading Sukoden 1 with 108 Stars Of Destiny just don't let Pahn die against Teo, always let Pahn on your Party to make him strong like Tir.

In suikoden 1 u will have 107 stars...Leknaat will say that all 108 stars are gathered.Victor will say that ur missing one....then there will be some minor dialog and she will revive him...

even if i finish the suikoden 1 with 108 stars complete, and gremio revived and named my hero as tir, still the name of mchdol is tchdol..

In Suikoden 2 You Will Meet Him, named Tir " Tir Mcdohl " his real name... the one who took down the scarlet empire

You're right I though Tir name will be Raymond too because I named Tir & Riou Raymond but Tir change his name to RcDohl. But if you try All caps like more than 6 letters you can name tir over 6 letters like RAYMON but if it's less than 6 letter like TIR it will change to RAYohl

if not...Tir Mcdohl in Suikoden II will change the name as the 1st letter you named him in Suikoden I,

example : Suikoden I , you give name " Youri"

in Suikoden II will change as Ychdol

@OddyMoo no, it changes his name to any letters you put in capitals e.g. if you put YoUrI then his name would be YcUoIl whereas if you named him YOURI it would be YOURIl and if you named him youri (no capitals) it would be McDohl
