I always thought deep down Tricia had feelings for Tony and was trying to hide it by flipping it and saying she hated Tony when in fact I think she was jealous of Tony & Meagan's relationship because they were together. The kiss at the end proves to me that was why she hated Tony.. she went bonkers over the fact that she had some deep feelings for Tony and was feeling her sisters boyfriend

This storyline was going just before Channel 9 Australia decided to "fast-track" Y & R so we could catch up with the USA. We ended up missing 4 years of great episodes by the sounds of it. Really annoying.

Well Tricia began spiraling into a mess when she miscarried her baby with Ryan. Ever since then it seemed like she never recovered.Ryan started flirting with Victoria I believe shortly after which also drove Tricia nutty. She got really depressed and she became obsessed and focused on her sister & her boyfriend. I never really understood why she hated Tony so much though.

Let's not forget Matt Clark/Carter Mill's part in Tricia's mental instability. Granted Ryan and Victoria deserved most of the blame but he helped it along.

As for Tricia and Tony, I think he was both obsessed with him and saw him not good enough for her sister hence the kiss.

You have to give him credit, he loved Meagan. Many guys would have taken Tricia upstair, boinked her brains out and went back to the party.

Wow! I am happy for you and I agree. I hate it when they bring a character back and either don't give them a decent storyline or just have them in one or two scenes but don't do anything with them. Oh I agree with you on that. Tricia's obsession with Tony did mask her lusting for him. The kiss pretty much said that. A part of her probably wanted him not to only return the kiss but she might not have objected if he had taken her upstairs and has sex with her. But he was in love with Meagan so that was not going to happen. But some guys would have done it anyway.

Yes that pretty says it. The shows do that. They wil have a "normal" character become a psycho almost overnight. But with Tricia, Ryan, Victoria, and Matt Clark helped her along the way. She had her own problems though.
