was there yesterday... such a nice old man.. got to meet him, and see all the pieces he has for sale... he is really a cool guy, and its sad how much he has to lock up all of his stuff.. he had to unlock a bunch of stuff to let us in to see his things for sale.. he said he just turned 90, and he has has recently added a new piece. I plan to go back next week and buy one of his autographed pieces
so i actually went there today, after hearing so much shit about this place. I have a couple of...i guess...disappointments for you guys. This, "scary old man" you keep referring to is actually this very nice man, named vollis simpson, to whom i went up and introduced my self. He was working in the shop next to the park. He explained that he does this just as a hobby, he even invited me to walk around inside the park and take a look around. It was a really cool place.
i went there one time and theres this old car thats like smashed in a tree and like theres some storie that the old mans daughter died in that car, but anyways wut i was saying was... that i went there one time and found a bounch of puppies in the old car haha we took them home. they where awesome.
That story is not true. Vollis has a daughter. She is a nurse in Wilson, NC and she did not die in a wreck on prom night (which is what the rumor is).
You guys are pussys all you did was drive by? dude walk through there and take pictures as long as you arent harming anything or there late at night that guy doesnt care
