It gives the protesters against her the right to hold a protest. It would be a different issue if she blantly said it to a students face considering the anti-bullying law in NJ. One last note, although I agree that the ones that want Viki Knox to be fired are bullying Viki with their protest I feel it's a little distasteful that the pro-Viki group yells "Don't bully Viki." Considering that there were more than a dozen child/teen suicides due to bullying of homosexual children/teens. Like I said, I agree that the anti-Viki were bullying the pro-Viki team should have found a different chant.
