Eyelining Tutorial (Using Pencil, Liquid, Gel & Powder)

For me, using powder is the easiest method. I used to not wear eyeliner daily on my upper lid, but now I do. I just use an eyeliner brush and some black shadow. It's subtle, it stays, and it opens up my eyes :).

since i have a monolid, none of these eyeliner ways work for me .

lining the inner water line works a bit . but honestly i have the really crappy annabelle pencil liner, and it rubs off like ten minutes after i apply.

and mascara doesnt work either, whenever i use mascara, it ALWAYS gets on my top lid. ALWAYS.

@KLBMakeup I was only telling my opinion that is why there is a comments part so you can tell your opinion. Besides I was only watching because I wanted to see a tutorial on how to do this. @sparkleybear456 instead of using liquid on your water line, use powder/pencil. it doesnt burn or get in your eye.

@minaina12345 no i wear contacts and i tightline it is only bad if u poke ur eye because it could poke ur contacts so practice at first without contacts then try it with ur contacts on and bubbi wears contacts and she does it so im sure she wouldnt show us to do something when it could hurt ur eyes. @silentxmusician i usually just take a little q-tip[or a little cotton bud],put a bit of makeup remover on it and just clean whatever mistake i made,an re-do whatever needs to be re-done

it works pretty well so you might want to try that :D

@aznclair111 depends on what technique ur trying to do, but u can use eyeshadow or pencil to tightline it, and then use whatever u want over ur eyelashes, as close as possible above ur lashes. Tighlining will help fill in gaps that ur gel or liquid liner can't get, OR, i know some ppl will close one eye, and put on eyeliner with the eye closed (other eye open to see), and that might be better, cus ur looking down on ur lashes, not up

I use a liquid on my top eyelids and a pencil on my bottom on the rare occasion that I actually like the bottom. Makes my eyes look too closed if I like the bottom. I never thought of using eyeshadow though.

@KyuHAESarang Maybe you unconsciously rub your eye or something. Either that or its because your face is oily after a while, if that's the case, maybe some oil wiping facial sheets would be a good thing to have in your purse/bag. :O

I prefer the gel liner just because it has more control for me, the liquid for me is a pain in the butt lol i shake to much for it to go on straight and the pencil always smears and it looks like i have a black eye :/, but with the gel i put o the same color of eyeshadow as the gel to set it kinda like the foundation idea it seems to last for me :))
