  • great vids! thx

  • what was wrong with the sack chair?

  • I feel I would worry more about covering the shelter first then anything else.

  • that sack chair looked well comfy :D

  • Odd, demonstrating a luxery in the middle of the necessity demonstration

  • I saw this set at Ikea.

  • it's quite a labour intensive and destructive way pof building a shelter but hey, as long as it gets well used for a long time then i guess it's worth it

  • if you can do all this without zip ties, then you're the man

    .

  • @fullfist He said in a previous video that he's using zip ties to save time.

  • @BloodSteed oh, ok

  • You are very good at surviving keep up the good videos!!

  • some people just dont understand that you really dont need to use traditional stuff in bushcraft all the time you must always try to inovate, anyway i love your videos man keep givin me good ideas

  • Genius!!!

  • i would have made a recliner

  • Thank you !

Now, how do we make a flat. fairly sturdy table

  • nice bench good work

  • After stumbling across this video for the second time I got this sudden urge to get the materials needed ready for tomorrow so I grabbed a flashlight, hiked up to the closest foresty area around here and proceeded to get a hold of 3 long, suitably thick trees, felled them and carried them back to my backyard, tomorrow it's on to making a chair ^^

Quite hard trekking through bush and felling trees in pitch darkness but completely do-able and quite fun ^^

Thx for the video btw, very well made :)

  • If There were 10 of this guy placed in the wilderness with all neccessary equipment, they'd have a village up and running in 48 hours or less :P

  • awesome videos..!!! thanks for sharing!!!

  • You should think about writing a book of your woodcraft wisdom.

  • ill give you 100 zipties, 80 sticks, 20 rocks 2m fabric and you make me a nuclear bomb with those?

  • @mossmon It takes at least 120 zipties to make a nuclear bomb :-)

  • Thank you for your skills. This is useful video.

  • I think I might make this chair for my porch LOL

  • im going to make a shelter like this and live in the bush and tap into a real sorce of pure life love the vid thanks . do you no the most important thing you can have in a long term emergency its seed and somthing that will regrow , people cant eat gold but they will trade it for food

  • Hey i wanna know where that forest is too....there must be some lesser known 'sack bushes' where he gets the sacks from and they must be near the tie rap tree...must be season for pickin tie raps to use he he....Great vids tho

  • how about a video where you spend the day and night out and show us how well it works out , sometime because of things going on at home or work we sometimes live vicarously through other peoples videos I would sure enjoy watching spend a day and night in your shelter. see ya at the campfire Dave

  • this gotta be the most amazing bushcraft i seen online, this video makes me want to go to my local park, and spend the night in the woods.... its 7:09pm ny timezone its alrdy dark outside, ima go tomorrow and do this same thing, ima take my blanket tho lolsz

  • @agil24 if you open your eyes and notice the trees (ie) the wood he is using is dead

So by REMOVING the dead wood is he not making way for NEW growth?and by removing the dead wood less risk of forest fires. RIGHT??? I would say so

So THINK before you type so you don't make your self look stupid

  • Don't let the idiot tree huggers get to you, friend. They are too stupid to understand what a RENEWABLE resource is. Love your bids. You are an inspiration in an otherwise messed up world.

  • @lmsloan You can't call people idiots because they respect the things you take for granted. The point is we shouldn't have to "renew" anything. If we all weren't idiots in the first place and understood it's not there for us to use, that it's there for better reasons than making 6,500 foot log houses for a three person family to live in two months out of the year, our planet may not be on the brink of renewing itself.

  • @agil24 I think you need a new hobby. Negative posts about someone's creations using what nature provides, while others wipe out whole forests in different parts of the world, is ridiculous. Stop being emotionally controlled by what images flash before your eyes and do some real learning. Go out into the wilderness and feel it, play with it and use it! :)

  • @agil24 You make this comment while you use a computer that has made more of an environmental impact than this man does in making 20 shelters. You make this comment as you use electricity that was most likely powered by a factory. Lastly, you probably drive your car and use more gas than you "need" to. Get outside and stop living in a fantasy land created by Disney cartoons you watched as a child. Trees can't talk and don't have "feelings".

  • @agil24 TWAT

  • @agil24 get over it.

  • @agil24 Maybe you could power your electric car with some Coal Seam Gas, then play some MW2 on your 1500 watt computer.....

  • the zip tie is the new most essential wilderness building tool! make sure to always have bags of zip ties on your person, in your vehicle, in your pack, etc! Thats the biggest lesson i learn from these great tutorials!

  • He mentions in an earlier video in this series that he would normally use natural cordage or paracord (an essential bushcrafter supply no forest goer should be without) but to save time he is using zip ties.

Also, it's not necessarily a bad idea to have some of these with you when you're hiking. I carry a package in my car, and I've used them to make sure my bumper wouldn't fall off after I got rear-ended. You never know when you're going to need them, and they're even more useful when hiking

  • You'll be Buggered without the zip ties hey mate! lol good vid's the mate top job

  • I tried out your sack chair and it worked out great, very comfortable.

Now I'll have to give this one ago.

    Keep those vidoes coming Bro.

  • I built a chair just like that from your first video here in the Basque forest and it was really comfy, thanks for sharing sir!

  • nice one wez glad u came bk,keep up the work....

  • I really enjoy your videos. You use the KISS principle, capitalize on the surrounding resources, and present it in a straight forward format. Excellent shelter.

    wtr7

  • Wow! I love it. God has provided wood for us to use as fire, tools, eating utensils and furniture.

I can see expanding on that with another A-frame, and making a bench or even a bed.

Excellent video, sir. Please keep them coming!

  • @MilesOhToole no zip ties in nature lol.

  • Great looking chair.

  • Thats a really great chair mate. As long as you have access to the wood you

    can do almost anything

  • Solid ideas and info, the chair 7-star, just great build.

    7/7*,thanks,---JC

  • Another great chair...... Thanks...
