  • The music artist is: BOUBACAR TRAORE

de cd is Kongo Magni. He sighned up the cd for me when he played a concert in Rotterdam, 2006. He is the Elvis Presley of Maliblues. Harmonica: Vincent Bucher from France. Is great great musician too. Much love from the Netherlands, and Greetsz to you too.

  • Beautiful place and people, mashaAllah.

  • وكانت مالي مذهل في المملكة

  • well, it makes our modern constructions a bit "trivial" ! . I love this music; is it played on African instruments?

  • i am from somalia orginaly living in euroupe i think we relate to malian people i love mali .one day i will visit

  • Indeed wonderful music, is it Boubacar Traore who is singing? My husband and daughter are in Djenne, they must have arrived today in the afternoon. It's good to see this film and imaging them walking around in theze surroundings.

  • oh god!!! i wanna go to mali!!! friends of mine went to mali by car (they sold it in bamako) from spain. such a long and difficult travel. do you know another way for going there? i guess that via plane, but through paris probably...

  • Mali is amazing, Djenne, the orginal hippie town of West Africa,

  • can u halp me ? i need this music artist ..... very very ! please help me !

  • Which artist makes that beautiful music?

  • for those that do not know: in pre-islamic mythology The Djinn are said to be creatures with free will, made from 'smokeless fire' by God.

Djinn have free choice, and Iblis used this freedom in front of God by refusing to bow to Adam when God told Iblis to do so. By refusing to obey God's order he was thrown out of the Paradise and called "Shaitan"

are frequently mentioned and Sura 72 of the Qur'an named Al-Jinn is entirely about them

the muslim got the name from these people.

  • in brühl by cologne we will have the biggest unreal dogon-buildings of the world bigger like the mosque in djenne

    the hotel matamba

but i think the orginal in djenne is better

  • amazing mosque! would love to visit there someday.. n yeah the music is cool.

  • I am from Djenne but havent been there in a long time but it looks really good and its nice to see the malian people getting on with life, despite the lake drying up. I love the music on this clip.

  • people dont know that these structures are over 600years old. Some of the oldest functioning buildings on earth.

  • U r fucking awesome and obviously picked a great time to go since I know that lake is drying up. It's very tragic how Africa is experiencing such chronic desertification. And what can you say about Djenne? Probably the coolest town in West Africa. The mosque is gorgeous! Thanks.
